The Followers Of Christ Are God’s Chosen People
he remnant has always been the Chosen One’s. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Daniel, the prophets, etc., all trusted by faith that the promised Messiah would atone for their sins.

The vast majority of the Israelites chose to worship other gods and were not saved.

John the Baptist, the disciples who were of the House of Israel and the House of Judah, Paul the Apostle, the 3,000 Jews who were saved on Pentecost, etc., all trusted by faith in the atoning work of Christ on the cross.

The vast majority of the Jews rejected Him as their Messiah and were lost.

Today the remnant believes in Christ’s atoning work alone, but the majority of people reject Him and are lost.

Jews forbid one another to read the New Testament, so they blind themselves to the truth about their Messiah.

There has always been a remnant who believed. The only thing that has changed is that Jesus offered His New Covenant, where He put His law in our minds and wrote it on our hearts. His remnant, His Chosen People, have always trusted by faith.

Everything that was promised to Abraham and his descendants is offered to them in the New Covenant.

A remnant has always believed by faith and were saved. The rest tried to be saved by the law and they were lost. That’s true of the Israelites, the Jews, and Gentiles today.

The promises that were made to Abraham are ultimately to those who believe by faith, not his physical descendants.

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Daniel, etc. all believed that the Messiah would come and atone for their sins. We look back on that event.

Why do Christians focus on Jews in Israel, when the Word of God says that Jesus made both – Jews and gentiles, one church?

Ephesians 2:14-22 “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both (Jew and Gentile) one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”

Romans 2:28-29 tells us that a Jew is one inwardly, whose heart is circumcised.

“For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.”

Romans 9:6-8 says Abraham’s fleshly descendants ARE NOT the children of God.

“For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are NOT the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.”

Galatians 3:7 tells us that ONLY those who are of faith are the children of God.

“Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.”

Galatians 3:16 tells us that the seed of Abraham is Jesus Christ.

“Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say,“And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “and to your Seed,” who is Christ.”

Galatians 3:28-29 tells us that followers of Christ (Jew and Gentile) are Abraham’s seed who receive the promises made to Abraham.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Paul is clearly telling us that true Israel, true Jews, believe by faith, and so inherit the promises made to father Abraham.

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9

Everyone who believes in Christ by faith, are the Chosen People of God. They will inherit Holy Jerusalem when Christ returns.

The promise is yet to be fulfilled. It has not been fulfilled by Zionist Israel, which was created by the enemy to deceive the world.

God said that He would bless Abraham, not the modern state of Israel.

Please stop manipulating the Word of God by inserting the name Israel in it!

The verse reads “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

God’s declaration in Genesis 12:3 was to Abraham, who was neither an Israelite nor a Jew, as they were descendants of his grandson Jacob/Israel.

Abraham was a Hebrew from Ur in Babylon. God gave him that assurance as He told him to leave Ur and go to another place, which was a bold step which took a lot of faith.

Besides that it can’t just apply to the Jews, because the tribe of Judah is only one of the twelve tribes.

Paul was not an Apostle. He was a Babbling Idiot who added lots of his own ideas to what Jesus said, and he ignored much of what Jesus said. He was the "false apostle" in Ephesus spoken by Jesus in Revelation 2.

I am so sorry you are weak and deluded. God wants you to listen to Christ, rather than false Paul.

Re: The Followers Of Christ Are God’s Chosen People
give it up OP.. you know NOT at all what God the Trinity is. hf it does NOT work this way. God does not fly around and wear pants chosing special people and Jesus does not do that either.

those who choose the spirit are of God and receive eternal life as long as they keep working at it.

Jesus did not asked to be followed in this manner. He did not start a religion. He taught that there is a divine spirit that indwells the human beings who are moral. and that applies to the entire creation and not just this world. The entire creation is HUGE. there are 5.6 trillion planets that have intelligent life on them.

Solid stuff, OP. Further scriptural support includes Philippians 3:3. . ."For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh". There was never any free ride based on one's fleshly heritage - it was always about faith & obedience.

Re: The Followers Of Christ Are God’s Chosen People
he remnant has always been the Chosen One’s.

The word here for savour is 'moros', which means moron (not morAn :P)

It's telling us that to be disciples, we must be thought of as morons by the world.

Prophetic indicator of a Christian.

What does Jesus have say about this?

The church of Christ is not an externally recognizable building, it is only the union of profoundly believing people who are in most intimate contact with the founder of the church, with Jesus Christ, and thus are also enlightened, guided and permeated by His spirit and are also truly able to work remarkably with the spiritual strength.

Secular organizations who claim to be the church of Christ on earth, as mentioned by Jesus Christ, generally just represent the outward appearance and not its essence.… They indeed teach the Word of Christ, nevertheless only living faith gives God’s Word the right meaning and the right value to the human soul. And this living faith can exist in every clerical organization but it can also be absent from it, however, only the human being who calls this living faith his own is a follower of His church.

Anyone with a right and living faith, which is the result of a life of love, will also know the truth, because the fire of love emanates the light of truth…. And he will also discern between divine and human teachings.... he will more and more let the divine teachings become the principle of his life and ignore the human teachings….

The church of Christ no longer numbers many followers, and the more love grows cold amongst people the smaller the flock of true Christians will become, because love must definitely be practiced in order for people to be regarded as true Christians and to provide a fellow human being with a shining example of the true church on earth,

which does not require any official affiliation with a denomination but only a life according to the divine commandments, which first of all call for love, but which then will also exhibit the certain characteristic that demonstrates the founder of the church...Amen

And as long as the congregations fight each other they lack this living faith, because then they will also lack the understanding of that which I regard as the church founded by Me.
Strong faith and profound love prove the affiliation with the church of Christ and only its followers will survive the final battle of faith, because they will be the ones to fight alongside Jesus Christ and will, therefore, also be victorious over the one who opposes Christ, over God’s adversary and his vassals.... Anyone who professes to belong to the church of Christ shall also live like a Christian, otherwise he is no credit to it.

However, many people will pay lip service, they, too, will belong to churches which claim to have been founded by Jesus…. If they live according to divine will by fulfilling His divine commandments of love then their strength of faith will be strong as well and they will stand firm during the final battle of faith and profess His name before the world…..
