How do you know the kid is "special needs?" Looks like a kid to me. Oh I get it. The video title says it. So would it matter if she did it to a kid who doesn't have "special needs?"

Many Special Ed teachers are passive aggressive and are attracted to the field for the opportunity it provides to abuse the helpless.

She definitely did it on purpose, but I dont believe she meant it to be as violent as it was.

I worked as as teachers aid many years ago only for 2 months....my experience was shocking..the teachers would talk shit about the students and this was elementary also..I would ask the teacher why one kid was picking food out of trash ..the teacher said ..oh ignore him he always does that...I ask the kid why he said he was hungry...also one girl kept itching her head..I ask the teacher can we send her to the nurse she said no....I ask the student why she was itching she said her head was super itchy...also the principle dressed up in a bear suit for a special event..they had the kids sitting outside like an essembly..the principle sat on an older boys lap ..I thought it was very inappropriate. ..the boys face got red he looked very uncomfortable. They had patents there also..I thought wtf is wrong with these people...They Let Me Go After Two Months WITH No Explanation..I Was glad. But I felt bad for the kids.

35 years and I have never heard a teacher or aide speaking poorly about the kids...the kids parents..yes

1.) See how easily a subjective title + video footage of incident = swayed public opinion.

2.) See how those who defend potential truth / unpopular opinion are perceived and treated by those in subscribing to collective think-tank.

Better yet... don't judge a video at all... because there is always a degree of separation between you and what actually happened, if it actually happened at all.

They let me go because I was asking questions and for your info I have a criminal justice degree. Also the school district has been in the news twice already the teachers are not to be trusted ...I have written in to have all school staff take lie detectors tests and extensive back ground checks like they do for police officers...these are people's kids .

I knew a little grade school mentally handicapped child who was repeatedly physically abused by his teacher. No one believed the other children in her class when they began to talk about it. The child's mother tried to transfer him to another school. The school district refused. So the mother called in the feds. There wasn't much the feds could do. But it made the school district nervous enough to agree to finally transfer the child to a much better school.

To my eyes it looked like she did exactly what she intended and she doesn't look that old. I'm a senior and if anything, I can use less force with my legs, not more, than I intend.
Also, if you take your evil out on an innocent child, you don't want him crying loud so you put your hand over his mouth. Poor little mite.
She deserved to be fired and charged.

When I saw this in the news, I didn't see the whole video and thought maybe she got down and apologized and hugged the child afterwards, no way someone could be this insensitive. Even I've bumped into kids I didn't see, even hit them in the head with my hand on accident but apologized, but now seeing the whole video, what a fucking bitch!

You'd be surprised what goes on in special needs schools, just look up holly grieg... When they can't speak for themselves as some disabled and babies and toddlers, they think they can ge away with it, so ask if the school has cameras as this could be the difference between a crime being evidenced or not.

Always check for bruises and any signs of trauma like bed wetting or fear of going to school, to avoid any teachers with 'knee-jerk' reactions to kids.

Take my degree and stick it? Lmao! These schools need people with criminal justice degrees and internal affairs to go spy on these assholes to make sure the kids are safe...by the way I got my explanation from the higher authority of education that I was asking too many questions...lol..they got investigated. Lol! Wise up .

I quit teaching after 10 years. It is sad that schools function the way that they do. The high prevalence of bullies within teaching/administrative staff surprised me.

Kind of like how you try and nudge a shopping cart out of the way with your car but the thing gets stuck under the bumper and you just end up dragging the fucking thing across the parking lot...kind of like that?

My experiences with our special needs daughter taught me much.

She is deaf and when she was little she was scheduled to go to head start. I brought her into the school and was met by warm friendly loving teachers, or so I thought. She was crying when I left, and the teachers told me she'll be okay, leave her right here with us. So I left, but not really, and watched from the hall as the teachers "masks" came off, they took off for some coffee, and left my 3 year old child on the floor sobbing her heart out. It took all of my self control to stand there and wait. I waited for 3 fucking minutes, my daughter sobbing, the bitch teachers NOWHERE IN SIGHT.

I went in, picked her up, and took her out of that public school never to return.

On the way out the teachers were running down the hall after me, masks back on, worried looks on their faces, like oh no what did the mom see.

I stopped in the office and announced why I was taking my daughter out of their shit school.

Tell me what kind of heartless bitches can leave a terrified child sobbing her heart out? Who can walk away laughing?

And that was 16 years ago. Imagine how much worse it is now.

BTW they tried to get revenge on me for advocating for my daughter.

Social services called up shortly after that and told me they were going to come and inspect my house. We owned our own house, we were only dealing with them because my daughter was in head start. I asked them why, were there complaints filed about us? She said no. I said is it because my daughter is deaf? She said yes. I said oh, okay, make sure you wear your prettiest smile when you come over. She said why? I said because you're going to be on tv, I"m going to phone up every television station and have them here to greet you and you can explain to them and all of northeast wisconsin why social services is inspecting a home because the child is deaf. And I hung up.

Bitch never came.
