Of course Muslims believe in being resurrected and facing God alone on the day of judgment. There are levels to the hereafter. You die, you will go to the grave and be questioned by angels of death.

If you pass your test, a portal from heaven will be opened and you will be shown your permanent residence in paradise whereby the cool fragrance and smell of that paradise will reach your grave. You will be clothed from the clothe of paradise and told to sleep like a groom does on his wedding night until God resurrects you from the dead.

Jesus(PBUH) never did die you are correct. God honors his beloved prophets and answers their prayers. God raised Jesus(PBUH) and will cause him to descend during the perilous end times during which he will live, slay the anti-Christ and his horde of disbelievers, marry, have children, then he will at last die the natural death.

But I will answer your question . Jesus was God. But In Gods lower form. A human cannot be God. This goes against what God is. But God willed himself into existence in the flesh as yeshua to preach true salvation and redemption to the lost house of Israel, and to show Gentiles the true way of God. Jesus when he says I and my father are one, he is saying that God flows through him. This is also why when a man called Jesus good, Jesus said call no one good but God , because in his lower form he was a human . Higher form God. But this really doesn't matter. Jesus never claimed to be God. He was too humble for that. Every Christian who quotes from the gospels saying he is God is misguided . I explained the situation above . Technically he is God, but he never taught that. When he told the Jews before Abraham I am, he was speaking for God. Literally alive with his Spirit . That was God talking through Jesus . When he said me and my father are one, some say that is his claiming to be God, but he is simply saying if you hear my words and believe them you are hearing Gods truths and words . Indeed the teachings of Prophet Muhammad(SAW) are similar to the teachings of all of Gods Prophets. Each and every single one of them preached and taught man the oneness of God, his mercy prevailing his wrath, how to do righteous deeds, to stay away from sin as much as possible and to reject the devil and his inclinations and to seek refuge in the All-Might.
