Interesting had to warch again to see that. I have noticed the anti christ references as well. You know according to the Bible the ac will have his right eye darkened and his right arm withered. Well Carl was shot in his right eye, saved by dr. Denise, then Jesus shows up. Denise also shot thru her right eye and dies. When Carl was shot and recovering Rick is talking to him at the end of that episode and tells carl he wants to show him the new world.

The Whisperers renewed my interest in the comic. That seems to happen repeatedly with it though. I trudge through 10 or so issues that seem to go nowhere and then BOOM, right when I'm about to be done with it for good. Negan was that for me, then The Whisperers. I've only read up to issue #144 though (and they've published 152) I buy the compendiums. Since I'm caught up for the most part I might start buying floppies or smaller trades to see where they take this storyline. The writing is some of the worst in comics and always has been, but I keep coming back just for the hell of it.

More interracial crap... I'm really getting sick of it. It's every damned influential movie, series, soap opera...

All the interracial relationships in the Walking Dead are atrocious. The actors can't even fake the chemistry, nor do they have any sort of compatible personality that would make those relationships seem credible. It's disgusting how they force it on us.

The red headed guy is even worst than Rick. First with the Hispanic, now leaves her for the other black chick. They couldn't fake chemistry if their life depended on it.

The "Jesus" references haven't set well with me since day one. TWD has been filled with tons of hidden messages since day one. I was enjoying this season until the character "Jesus" made his appearance. The dialogue concerning him when his name is used all seems to have a Biblical reference . I can't remember where I read or watched that this was not intended BUT it's clear as day! It's impossible that it isn't planned. I never read the comic book so I don't know how the story line goes. I do notice however that every time there is a reference to Jesus there is a Biblical reference hidden within.

The scene with the apple this week was sickening. The whole thing just didn't sit well with me. If they wanted to add another character and not have it be Biblical they should've named him something other than Jesus. The way he looks, the way he appears and disappears, his "abilities, they all have a supernatural implication.

Someone earlier wrote that Maggie could've miscarried and has a zombie baby eating her uterus. Highly possible! I hadn't even considered that one but Maggie is a key character and I don't think they can kill her off yet.

Anyway, your observations are all correct with reference to the opening scene. Great job laying it all out for people to see. This weeks show will end up being a season end cliff hanger. I read in a British paper what happens which is kind of a bummer. The article was misleading, it was suppose to be about the character Negan but instead laid out the entire finale :( I stopped reading a few sentences in but unfortunately I read far enough in to figure out what Sunday's episode will entail.
