Anyone Frequent "Mall World" In Their Dreams

The "hyper/real/modern University campus" seems to be involved in "Mall World" as well. Adjacent to perhaps, same side of town. It's difficult to describe how the areas of this place/city/urban area are connected.

I have floated around the Mall, and saw the lake access downstairs, with pedal-boats.
The one that lately recurs is College world.
I never know my class schedule and just wander from room to room.

The ones I go to, the toilets never work right.

I go to Military Base world too - its a base on the edge of nowhere - with a flight line that backs up to wilderness - it has an amazing waiting room and there are civilian dependents processing through. The chow hall is very retro, the whole place feels retro. In the gym or off the gym they have like a "good will" kind of lending closet kind of place with used goods people leave behind, books, old movies -VHS tapes - there are elderly people volunteering in there though I don't know where they live because aside from the base the location seems very very remote - edge of somewhere - in my romantic mind I like to think is a slightly more mild climate area on Antarctica and there is a base down there with families and everything and they spend most of their lives stationed remotely.

OK, so I was in some thriving town center, then suddenly developed awareness I was dreaming. I went up to some guy (a passer by) and told him I knew I was dreaming, and began trying to get answers out of him (secrets of dreams, the universe, etc).

He told me his name was Larsson, and initially was reluctant to talk with me, but I continued to press him, and he finally relented.

He told me something like this. 'What you think is a dream is actually another world. The reason why you have no awareness of this fact - in a dream - is because you are heavily drugged. It is the same as your world when you are drugged or highly intoxicated with alcohol, and you have no self control or self awareness, so it feels like you are in a dream. It's not until the drug wears off that everything around you makes sense and you know where you are. This is what has happened to you now - the drug has worn off; you now have self awareness and can see the bigger picture.'

He was correct because when I regained my senses from this mysterious dream drug, I began to look around and noticed that this place - this world - was very technologically advanced, but not necessarily in a classic sci-fi cum reality way, but something I cannot really describe. I've had another similar lucid dream before where I found myself in a very similar setting.

I began asking Larsson questions about the nature of reality. I told him I believe his world is constructed from a less dense form of matter to ours, but he disagreed and said it's all the same. I gave him a demonstration, walked up to what appeared to be a solid brick wall and began to bend and deform it - easily - with my hands. I said to him that such a feat isnt possible in our world because matter is too dense. He, again, disagreed with me, and said it was all a state of mind.

The plug was pulled, then I woke up.

I guess I was finding out a little too much.

Not a recurring dream, but a recurring place one dreams about:

Absurdly steep and elaborate escalators. Stairwells that lead in and around in maze-like configurations. Elevators and lifts without walls (not good if you're scared of heights). Secret passageways. Underground food storage warehouse type setup.

And of course, being able to "float' up and down the staircases. Try spontaneously accelerating by force of will while "floating" down the stairwells, speed up and grab the railing as you swing around the landing to increase speed on your way down to wherever.

Oh, and they have a friendly tobacco shop.

I've taken to calling it "Mall-World".

Duly noted by a few posters, myself included, but for new people coming here...stay away from the Chinese dude with the Fu Mancho beard. The moonshine is awful and even though I had not had a drop to drink in a bit...I wake up hungover. Since it seemingly neigh near impossible to meet up with other dreamers...wtf is it? I was in the suburbs the other night really...not too far away then a few weeks ago I was on the nearby coastline. But this is where we all go.

Is it 'lucid dreaming'? Is it...I don't know and OP fucked off so w ehave to hash it out together. From what I know there is an entrance/exit that leads to a sea. But I can not figure out the NSEW of it...so can't really draw up a mpa.

Thread: Anyone Frequent "Mall World" In Their Dreams (Page 17)

So, I have lost track of who posted this map but I have added some things to it. The person who spoke of "Seahurst" clicked big time with me. I have added some elements I have seen in Seahurst and expanded the map both north and south. I have included the odd, calm, bay or pond type area with small quaint cabins on stilts, an amphitheatre, a monorail/aquaduct type element, and a casino/hotel. Let me know if any of this rings a bell for any of you. Sorry for the large size but I couldn't think of a better way to do this quickly.

This sounds like a LARP but it is really not. KInd of nUtZ or I am which is arguable.

I only observe the clearing area where the path leads into the woods. I've never ventured further. I have been in that locale enough times though.

And "freeway overpass" world as well. Lots of curving elevated freeways of some kind.

Urban dilapidated world seems to be somewhere between Mall World area and freeway overpass area.

I think.

It's not the kind of cohesive thing you could draw a map of.

I had a thought on this since I have tried to meet up with people here but because of timezones and the fact I can only get to Mallworld now and then, a more interesting thing is...can you find a mirror in Mallworld?

I own 2 homes in Mallworld...I know how to find them both. But then I just had a brain fart and thought....I should look at myself in Mallworld and keep an image of that in my head. So, all Mallworlders...try and find a mirror so you have an approximate image of yourself there.
