Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5764474 However, if you look out at the moon, it's clear that the moon facing Earth is covered in impact craters. There's just no simplistic, common sense way that this is possible in the flat earth model. Electrical discharge fits much better than impact. It accounts for the common "dome" shape dead center in so many improperly named "craters". So .no. Your theory proves nothing. Except that flat earth is an attempt to discredit ALL people discoursing the REAL BS! Especially, the rumor that your MOM went to the Moon. In 1969. Not true! Not true! |

Since it is not limited by the curvature of the Earth, skywave propagation can be used to communicate beyond the horizon, at intercontinental distances. It is mostly used in the longwave frequency bands. |

You are seeing a WALL OF WATER. Stand next to a fence at about eye level near a road on the other side and watch the cars magically "disappear". Did they fall off of a ball? No. The further away it gets the more that you cannot see it because it is shrinking in perspective. The ocean is a bad example to try to prove a flat earth for this reason. You have no real idea what the true horizon is because it has to do with sea conditions (wave height). |
