Veteran beat up by cops after calling VA suicide hotline for help

sometimes it's just knowing that nothing that was done ever really made a difference..

and many vets just feel that everyone wants them to shut up and go away and not talk about or show their pain.


it's how I feel.

except since I'm female, it's worse cus it's then labeled "self pity".

only male vets that were 'combat decorated' seem to deserve even that much. to be as messed up as they are.

maybe his family just thought he needed 'tough love'..or 'professional help' or to 'take his meds'???

who knows. Maybe they made the mistake he did. The mistake I made. The mistake of trusting the promises they were made and trusting the system itself.

and the system is fucking evil to the core, I will say that.

but the people defending it or relying on it..

they are the problem too. because they don't see that by stepping back and allowing it to continue they are part of it too.

me, I'm just getting sick of it all, but won't do anything that would get me NEAR a VA or a cop.

there are other ways.

too many veterans are murdered. it just goes by the name of suicide.

too many veterans have 'friends' that really don't give a flying fuck how suicidal they are..if they don't want to hear it..another veteran dies.

This may piss people off but I dint hate what they did. If it was one of my buddies I guess I would rather see him roughed up and alive other than dead. I have friends that felt suicide was the only option and it hurts me. If that was one of my guys I would go try to restrain him myself. This vet was bad off enough fir the VA to be called for a home visit so we really dint know if others were in danger also. The cops did this because that's what cops do. Once upon a time they only hired cops with enough intelligence and common sense to talk a man down. Now a large portion of cops are stupid. That is truth. They are not smart at all. And they have been out into the position of dealing with life for other people. Stupid people always implode under pressure.

However there is also a side of me that believes if this man was not a danger to others, and truly beyond help, then he has earned the right to end his life if he wants to. We all had a pact that we wouldn't let each other come home as a burden to our loved ones. That is part of the life he chose and he earned the right to see it through. It seems the VA may be at fault here because I would assume that falls under medical and is hippa protected. I must be wrong.

Dude, this would seriously solve a lot of problems; companionship. Natural oxytocin. Just a nice woman to even pretend to care or listen would make ALL the difference in the world. I used to joke that it was too bad the doc couldn't perscribe me a girlfriend. But alas like all good things, some satanic asshole had to make the fundamentals of life illegal. World's oldest profession got us all this far, and now we ban it. Madness.

all the fucking time. People see a weakness and start drooling and go with jackbooted thug brutality in for the kill.

hell, sometimes it doesn't even take blows..sometimes it can be just being convinced by evil fucks that for whatever reason, you 'deserve' to die.

24 vets a day.

and it would be so much less if people just took the time to listen and give a shit. But what people seem to care about most is being right and high and mighty more than helping anyone.

and another vet just committed suicide. don't know the name..but it just happened.

please don't blame him or her.
some people get tired of waiting and take matters into their own hands. ESPECIALLY IF PERSUADED TO DO SO BY AN EVIL SYSTEM.

Life experience has conclusively shown me that suicide never happens in a vacuum.

Suicide is always a product of a murderous, callous society.

Please try and hang on to the reality that none of this treatment is personally directed at you. It really isn't. It certainly feels like it, but it isn't.

This is what happens to just about everyone who suffers traumatic stress injuries.

Please remember that you are most definitely not alone. It definitely feels like it in the moment. But you are not alone not ever. There are millions of people who suffer in exactly the same way, through exactly the same dynamics...

and when people can see your face and know who you are.

and still laugh at you and don't care i fyou are in pain and want you to go away?
