Has anyone else noticed how bad the rain smells lately?

Did not notice smell that much .. as I am rural and it is spring everything smells like pigs shit and cow manure now.
I am way more concerned about the rads my geiger-counter measures doubling and tripling every time it rains.
Normal is something about 50-70 Nanosieverts.
When it rains it goes up to 180 occasionally.
Not that any of these levels are of any real concern, but still....
