If the Cubs make it to the World Series, the tickets to a game at Wrigley Field will be amongst the most expensive sporting event tickets in history.

I was there in 1984 (13-0) and again against the Marlins.
I had to turn down a ticket to a Cubs playoff game last year.
My buddy with season tickets took his son in my stead.
I promised him I'd make it down this season!

I grew up there, and have been a Cubs fan since I was 8.

I'm a Pirates fan as is required living in Pennsylvania. That being said I think the Cubs take the division this year. They may just have what it takes to win it all this year. As for the Cards they're still good as always but I think the Cubs and even the Pirates will pass them this year. I'm hoping for another wild card berth. They look pretty good except the bottom of the rotation looks shaky. But Ray Searage aka the Pirates pitching coach is very good at reviving pitchers careers and the Pirates picked up a pitchers in the off season that he might be able to fix up. If worse comes to worse there is always Glasgow and Tallion in Triple A for the rotation. Crossing my fingers that they get called up this year.

Cubs win!

Did you see my prediction above for the standings and the other post about the Pirates? Maybe it will be of the few predictions that come true lol. Would not be surprised to see the Cubs in the series this year.
