They're on different planets as far as their beliefs and policy are concerned. I do hope they both mount a 3rd party campaign if their respective parties screw them over. A four way general election would be glorious. The two party system needs to go. Dr. 307-10 |

They agree on many things but disagree on much more. I could see Bernie is Trumps administration somewhere to have him wooo the far left on his policies. The only hope for trump is to team up with cruz and promise him something big. Attorney General(which I'm pretty sure is going to Christie) or the Supreme Court but I don't see how he gets through the Senate confirmation He has to promise him something big. Even then the GOP will do everything to stop Trump. Expect Beck to start talking about the mistresses and how mislead he was about Cruz. |

How about we start infiltrating the delegates? We will say we're for cruz...we will be bound to cruz...and on the first vote we will vote for Trump! :D THEY are pulling shenanigans...why can't we? |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 72018187 Portugal 04/12/2016 11:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What?? One is like a Conservative Capitalist to the Core, the other is a moron communist/socialist who still hasn't learned that communism/socialism failed everywhere where it was tried. And the model socialist countries (Northern European ones) who managed to survive only did it because of oil, of extreme levels of education (people who hate to live of welfare) or because they were being financed by Capitalist countries. Now that those Northern European countries (like Sweden) are being flooded by low education migrants who will live of welfare the countries are slowly collapsing. Now imagine the U.S, the dumbest country in the world where half the population would rater be on welfare if they had the choice... It's a recipe for catastrophe. It's Bolshevism all over again. You will learn the consequences just like the Soviet Union did. |

Nonetheless, if anyone would be kind enough to send Mr Rappoport's article to either/both campaigns (just to throw it out there) I would be most obliged. Do you know anyone in the media? do not know anyone in media...I live waaay out in wilderness, and don't have twitter, FB, even a phone! That why I was asking for help passing on that article. Regarding that thread you referenced, I would imagine Trump would take same stand, if he hasn't already, being a businessman. Should private businesses have to kow tow to every special interest group? No. (unless I am misunderstanding the point?) Anonymous Coward User ID: 70278209 United States 04/13/2016 02:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | With a few minor but necessary adjustments Trump and Sanders are a good fit. Saunders just has to drop the amnesty and global warming nonsense. Trump's bringing the jobs home will bring in the revenue to finance Sander's social programs, many of which were the norm in the 50's, 60's, 70's. Sander's plans would not work and are just pie in the sky fantasies without Trump's immigration policy, his wall, and Trade policies. That's what is so odd, a few really minor adjustments, and their programs would fit like a glove and they'd get 70% of the vote before one day of campaigning. Probably end up with 90%. Trump brings a knowledge of basic math, and tough love, and a revived healthy nationalism (as opposed to fascism), Sanders brings a heart and a comprehension of the limits of corporate (crony) capitalism. |
