It really is. Next time we get some cards in the mail I'm going to record her opening them because OMG you should see her face light up just getting little get well cards and reading them and how much they mean to her. She hangs them up on the wall by her bed. One person sent an anonymous envelope and no return address and no card or letter just cash wrapped up in a piece of paper but she even hung the envelope and blank paper on the wall to remind herself how much that person means even if they wanted to remain anonymous because she said literally every little bit helps no matter if it's a sweet word, pretty card, special gift or financial contributions. She is so humble and it touches my heart so much to see how grateful and happy these little gifts make my mom and brother.
