THere are hot springs every damn where..In SD, In Idaho, In Missourri, In Arkansas In Central Montana In Yellowstone..Thats just a few Quoting: TKC Bog Hot is over 400 miles from Yellowstone. (Locals don't call it Bog Hot Springs, they go with just Bog Hot.) Unless the booze they were drinking was sold in Wyoming I concur. sorry, double post Oh no, I'm happy you did post. I wanted to tell everyone I spoke with today about the scrubbing of Earthquake info in regards to Japan today. I know I'm going slightly off topic, but this is really important. Especially with a place like GLP, where ground info is King. I checked every site before I cried wolf, no 6.1 at 11:28am Japan time. None of this was shared with anyone outside of Japan. But, I happen to be listening to a live news stream, and watching the live feed to Japans eq monitoring. SO, the alarms went off on the eq site, while on the news live feed, they were kinda freaking then went immediately to a reporter on the ground. So i saw this REAL event they decided to scrub. “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” |

You would be surprised at what gasses off from your typical, backyard spa or hot tub. Sudden CO2 and hot water releases are two dangers at hot springs in volcanic areas. You never know when they will suddenly happen while your happily tubbing in that relaxing hot water. It happens at places like Mammoth Lakes, CA now and then, and they close certain hot springs to human usage due to real safety concerns. Volcanically-active hot springs are no joke in areas where unexpected releases can and do occasionally happen. In other areas, low-lying CO2 releases can kill you as well. Very true. I was leaning towards asphyxiation by inhaling toxic gasses. But, ya never know, ther could have been a fast surge of super heated water, there's no escaping that. “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” |

Dayum tribe of Neanderthals killing us in record numbers Ikr! My ex tells me the park service is having a "free" entrance day or days coming in the near future here at Yosemite. I had to remind her that Yosemite is THEE largest cluster of missing people in National Parks/Forests system of this country. Probably the entire world. I'll have to check that out! Thanks.. I've got a senior pass. It cost 10 bucks. National Parks are free the whole year. BLM & FS campgrounds are half price. Only good reason to be older. Senior Pass. |

Can't say for certain this even relates to your quakes but on Googleearth there are a 6.0 and a 6.1 on the 14th then the 7.0 today. About 20 other smaller quakes shown also. |

The odds of 2 dying unless it was a pact are pretty slim unless it was airborne. Gas analyzers are cheap (Arduino), more tests should be done to determine if toxic air contaminants are present and fluctuating, stay away until ! |
