I'm done putting on the facade. Next time I go to church, if I go

I'm letting out the munster. No more hiding my true self to appease the congregation. This is it. Someone rubs me the wrong way? Guess what? No more putting on the happy face and dealing with said individual, they will receive the full force of my ire, in word format, of course. Someone asks me to join one of the small groups, and Im not feeling it? Guess what? No more playing the yes man, they will receive a firm "No." If they ask why not, I will simply say "because I dont fucking feel like it. I will forgive you asking the question, if you forgive me not providing an answer." If they say "Fry! Why havent we seen you at church? Why werent you singing along with the songs? Why werent you standing with the congregation? Why didnt you tithe?"

To all these answers and more.. "Because I do not fucking like it."

Perhaps it is best I stay out of the Church, I have a feeling that once I go, I will be making a tremendous scene, then get removed. Permanently, from the Church. Excommunicated is a good word.

I dont think they can handle my honesty. & quite truthfully, I don't think i have patience to go and wade through all of the fake faces, and voices. Especially after working a solid week, nonestop. To go and deal with even more people? No thanks. Id rather stay home.

so there is my soap box for the day. I do not expect a reply, I already foresee the kind of replies this thread will receive.

I just needed an outlet to write out my emotions at the current time. Nothing more. Dont need advice, dont need affirmation. Just needed to write it out.
