That must be why my friend's surgery was performed at another hospital last week - maybe it was too unsanitary at the VA hospital for surgery. God, help us. No. He's not in Chicago, but it's VA.

my cousin came back from Iraq and the VA wont do shit for him. He got badly wounded and needs several surgeries on his legs and other things. Got put on a multiple year waiting list and refuse to pay for any of his disability needs. They are horrible people just screwing veterans

Tell him at least theres a new program that if theres a longer wait for services the va has to pay a private doc to do it.
