Humane way to kill a feral cat

This little bastard keeps on coming onto my land and attacking my chickens he has killed several already.
It is indeed a feral cat, and I'm going to have to kill it, I don't want to cause him to suffer so I don't want to feed him antifreeze or something similar so can someone tell me the best method to kill the little fucker?
Quoting: catmustide 72120535 I have chickens and have to deal with this all the time. Get a live trap put some fresh oil based tuna in it and the cats, coons, and possums can't resist. There are plenty of those varmits so just plug-em and leave em out in an open field so the eagles and buzzards can eat. Or just dunk the trap in a trash can full of water, then you can even skin the cat, they have surprisingly tough skin so it would make good leather.
