Humane way to kill a feral cat

This little bastard keeps on coming onto my land and attacking my chickens he has killed several already.
It is indeed a feral cat, and I'm going to have to kill it, I don't want to cause him to suffer so I don't want to feed him antifreeze or something similar so can someone tell me the best method to kill the little fucker?

There are plenty of those varmits so just plug-em and leave em out in an open field so the eagles and buzzards can eat. Or just dunk the trap in a trash can full of water, then you can even skin the cat, they have surprisingly tough skin so it would make good leather. He said HUMANE The other option would be to build a movable chicken coop tractor, so the chickens have access to fresh grass and are protected, and you can still feed the cat.
