A circle of deep shafts has been discovered near the world heritage site of Stonehenge, to the astonishment of archaeologists, who have described it as the largest prehistoric structure ever found in Britain.

Four thousand five hundred years ago, the Neolithic peoples who constructed Stonehenge, a masterpiece of engineering, also dug a series of shafts aligned to form a circle spanning 1.2 miles (2km) in diameter. The structure appears to have been a boundary guiding people to a sacred area because Durrington Walls, one of Britain’s largest henge monuments, is located precisely at its centre.

I find it interesting that the Saharan dust storms are "supressing tropical development" in the Atlantic. I wonder what intrinsic polarity Saharan dust has: I wager it is positively charged and this area is akin to the large patches of 'sputtered' cloud that appear in vast swathes across the planet.

Astronomers *lie* some more when they claim that "magnetic reconnection" is supported by MHD theory because Alfven flat out called the whole idea "pseudoscience". They lie when the use Doppler shift as a "bait and switch" device to support "space expansion" as a cause of redshift. They lie every time they claim that the LCDM model makes "accurate/successful predictions" when in fact it's never made a single successful prediction yet! The whole field of astronomy is full of charlatans and liars galore. They just make this dark crap up out of whole cloth. None of it is real. None of it is scientifically valid. None of it has any scientific merit whatsoever.

In a first-ever experiment, they forced different concentrations of the metallic ammonia through a microjet, which created a stream about the width of a human hair that then passed through a hair-thin X-ray beam.

The results showed that, at low concentrations, solvated electrons were more easily dislodged from the solution by the interaction with the X-rays, giving a simple energy pattern. At higher concentrations, though, the energy pattern suddenly developed a sharp band edge, indicating the solution was behaving as a metal would.

Last year, archaeologists excavated stone tools and a fragment of a fossilized skull, attributed to Homo sapiens. The cave has also yielded weapon fragments crafted by Neanderthals.

In taxonomy, Homo sapiens is the only extant human species. The name is Latin for “wise man” and was introduced in 1758 by Carl Linnaeus (who is himself also the type specimen).
