When I saw the trailer in the movie theater I was really dissapointed. How in the hell could they do that to the ghost busters legacy?!?! I swear at first I though it was a parody like scary movie, then I realized it was the real deal. Utterly ridiculous.

I agree. There was just something great about the originals. I was excited when I heard there was going to be a new Ghostbusters movie -- then I watched the trailer. I don't even think I'd watch the full movie if they paid me.

it is bad enough that, whenever a decent movie comes out, they immediately make 2-3 more sequels of it to milk more money out of it, and the sequels are almost always lame and contrived

Horrible looking movie, Hope they do the honorable thing and never release it, not even to DVD or Netflix or Hulu or mainstream TV channels. Just call it a loss and move on

Yep the original was a work of genius. I felt pure horror as the trailer unfolded, it still boggles my mind, it was pure, unadulterated horseshit. Totally shocking.

I met the director, Paul Feig on the second day of filming and warned him not to continue with the reboot, that it would ruin his career.

I just watched it. I don't understand who they are targeting this movie at.
The original targeted anyone with a decent sense of humor. male or female. This one seems to be aimed purely at females, I can't imagine any guy wanting to watch this. The original was hilarious because the guys were so serious and the situation was so funny.
This reboot looks bad.
