Documentary - Requiem for the American Dream (Noam Chomsky)

Someone did the math and came up with $160,000 per year wage as the magic number that would get you to the bottom rung of of the ladder to the "American Dream" we were taught was attainable for everyone.

Did you even watch the damn documentary or are you just espouting the same rhetoric as all the other clones; "democracy!", "commie!", "liberal!", "shill!"?

He's explaining how the "masters of mankind"; the progenerators of our modern society, operate under the false guise of democracy. He further breaks down and details down how the U.S. has not even been a democracy since the inception of the Constitution. And how is he a communist here - he's not even denouncing Capitalism; he is showing evidence of how the U.S. is not operating as a true capitalistic system, but rather a privatized corporation. But I guess since he's not pro-capitalist, he MUST be a commie! Great logic.. I'm afraid some of you likely use the same logic in regards to religion as well. Anyone not a god-fearing christian, MUST be *gasp* of SATAN.

I'm fairly certain that at this point, most of you don't even read/research or watch any source material. It's easier just to spout your makeshift belief foundation, which you've formed a result to the reaction of those trigger words! "libs, commie, hippie, marxist, leftie, etc". There's more to the world than LEFT vs. RIGHT and two-party political paradigms.. sheesh.
