Re: Calling all dream tards - Interpret my reoccurring dream.
Sounds like a demonic attack while you are sleeping. Ask the LORD to protect you each night. Pray for His protection. If you do run into those entities, tell them to leave in the Name of Jesus! (Even if you meet them in your dream) There is power in His Name! His Blood Shed for us covers us! Put your Trust in God, and seek peace while you sleep.

If they make you go mute where you can't physically speak... Speak in your mind, think the thoughts, and cry out to The LORD in the Name of Jesus! He will save You!

Maranatha! hf

Thank you, I do all these things! Forgot to mention that. God bless.
 Quoting: PLUR Police

Yeah, i was going to mention that it was most likely an attack from an imaginary, made up creature, from whom you will only be protected by having a blind faith in another imaginary creature.

Sigh.

Hey, for all I know the dream could be meaningless. I am just interested in what people think.

However, spiritual battles do exist whether you believe in them or not. So one has to consider that dreams may be a part of it.

You are a LIAR!

This is happening for real. When you were young you said Bloody Mary in the bathroom Mirror 3 times and invoked Bloody Mary.

You will soon DIE!

Re: Calling all dream tards - Interpret my reoccurring dream.
So, I'm one of those people who have insane and complex dreams quite often. Most I dismiss as my overactive imagination, but some of them I believe could have a deeper meaning. Anyway, I want to share with GLP a re-occurring dream I have and see if anyone has a decent interpretation. The dream itself isn't too wild (by my standards) but very puzzling to me given its re-occurring nature (30+ variations).

It involves my grandparents old house, which I visited often as a child up until the age of 13 or so. They were decent, Christian people (legit). Nothing traumatizing ever happened there, nor did I ever sense anything evil. In fact, it was a very safe and happy place for me as a child.

The dream always begins with me being in the house, and immediately I'm aware of the malicious, evil spirit residing there. The strange thing is that it is only makes its presence known in two rooms of the house - the bathroom and the den. Despite knowing this, I always end up in one of these rooms alone, where I am confronted by this being.

Some dreams, I go into the bathroom and begin looking in the mirror, waiting for this thing to reveal itself in some creepy way. I never see it directly, except in the corner of my eye as some vague black being. I always get the sense that it is watching me. Often it will sort of freeze me and I cannot move. It's very terrifying actually when you're dreaming and you think it's for real. If I realize it's a dream, I just laugh it off and immediately wake up.

Sometimes, I am in the den and there will be a poltergeist type event and everything in the room gets re-arranged and/or thrown around. Or, for example, I am forced to sleep in there and the spirit inevitably messes with me. Occasionally it will scold me and ask questions as to who I am, etc.

I then proceed to tell my grandparents and others in the house what occurred. They seem to always believe me, but it's kind of like they just live with it.

I typically wake up from these dreams and brush them off, as I am more concerned with real life and things I have to do. It could be that for some reason, my subconscious is activating this type of dream and I just don't know why. However I had this dream again the other night and have been wondering about it. I am Christian and don't fear this sort of thing whatsoever. I've had real life experiences which were far worse. Just curious as to what the actual cause may be. I know there are some people here who are intelligent about this sort of thing. Thanks for reading!

Well as a Christian we are always in satans sights, he comes to steal, kill and destroy. Therefore you could very well be under attack, especially if you are making progress in your relationship with our Father. Be honest with yourself, how is it effecting you really?

I think the nature of your grandparents and the positivity of the house along with those two rooms being considered safe places or you have had positive memories there, has the enemy attacking those areas.

Greater is He that is in you, than He that is in the world.

Persevere and pray, have gaith that your Father can help you in any way, peace to you and in your home.

Re: Calling all dream tards - Interpret my reoccurring dream.
Do you live alone or are there other people living in your house with you?

The reason I ask is I had the same type of dreams for years. I was always in an old house and battling demons. I usually won by getting rid of them with the name of Jesus, but woke up physically exhausted from the battle. Family members were also present in my dreams, but were always in another room and did not seem aware of what was happening.

The dreams turned out to be a foreshadowing event of the real life demonic battle I would have to go through. I was not aware, but for years my son was delving more and more into dark practices.

At first he thought it was enlightenment and he eventually got deeper into it. He never told me because he knew I would not approve. At its worst he was having outer body experiences in "other dimensions" and was communicating with them.

Then he tried to get out of it! That is when I had to battle real life demons because they did not want to let go of him. He knew too much about their realm.

The battle took months and I was physically exhausted but persisted with expelling them in the name of Jesus. My son was attacked physically at first and then mentally tortured for a while. Working with him was exhausting because he was not strong in the faith yet. They even tried to attack me, but soon realized that would not happen because I knew Jesus and they could not touch me.

I know now those dreams were to toughen me up and get me used to battling demons. When it happened in real life I had the endurance and knowledge to go through it. My family members tried to help with my son, but were not as prepared as me so they mainly gave emotional support. This was also reflected in my dreams.

Since then, the dreams have totally stopped.

I am not saying your situation is the same, but your dreams remind me of my recurring dream. I hope this helps.

Wise words indeed. Thank you!

I am very aware of the ongoing spiritual battle. Probably the dreams are an extension of that, or they're just simply dreams. I may share my personal experiences with GLP in the future.

That said, my faith is strong and I am always trying to build on that.

God bless!

I live with one other person, my roommate.

Very interesting story about your son. I had a similar experience. At around age 15, out of curiosity I began researching the paranormal (NDE's, astral projecting, the spirit world, etc.) This opened me up to attacks and I learned a VERY hard lesson. Only when I renewed my faith did it stop and I was able to regain normalcy in my life. This is one of the experiences I may share with GLP in the future when I have time to write about it.

Thank you for sharing that with me! Really brought back memories of what I went through. I hope you and your son are well! :)

Re: Calling all dream tards - Interpret my reoccurring dream.
Ignore all the Christ haters that always try to tie Christians to Pedo activity.

Your dream: Look for the big picture (macro) meaning and the micro meanings. They should be inter related.

Your grandparents house represents today's modern (last 100 years) interpretation of what Christianity is about and all the theology attached to it. Some of this theology is wrong and is lurking in the corners and is demonic, as Christians some are actually following anti christ ideas. The bathroom represents a place of utility use, meaning there is freshwater pipes , pipes for drainage , hot water pipes, soap, shampoo, toilet, towels etc., very utilitarian. Not sure how the den was used,, as a price for relaxation, entertainment or paying bills , storage , hobbies.

One example of this is how we interpret end time events, rapture , what is anti christ and how these influence world politics. We as modern Christians have bitten hook line and sinker these ideas and preachers got rich off of books , movies, conferences , fear and false security recruitment efforts.

I hope this helps

Since your dream is recurring, it's most likely not an attack as someone suggested.

Whatever this entity is that makes you uncomfortable, your subconscious picks your grandparents house to deal with it in because it is safe there. That is a strength.

There is some type of anxiety that you are uncomfortable with. Many types of anxiety would be acceptable to you, such as falling off a cliff or confronting a lion in the jungle.

However, some sources of anxiety are unacceptable to our conscious mind so we repress it. Something is bothering you that you don't want to accept.

The good news is that your mind is picking a safe place at which to try to alert you to it. Your mind is saying, "it's okay, lets look at it."

A loss of innocence, both in your private (represented by the bathroom) and public (represented by the den) life.

You suppress your guilt. You are still the child you once were, but that child does not like what you have become.

Look at yourself and address whom you have become.

Interesting dream. I had a psychic years ago who told me that in a dream, everything is a representation of you. Our mind doesn't include anything other than ourselves in dreams, even though precognitive dreams suggest otherwise.

Think about the dream, and try to explain it if everything in it is you.

Not saying this is true, just an interesting idea.

Re: Calling all dream tards - Interpret my reoccurring dream.
Your subconscious has many chambers...which once closed over time you have a very difficult time revisiting without being regressed. Usually our past lives and earliest of memories reside here...it's possible to be regressed back to a past life or sounds, even conversation or music whilst being in the womb...it's possible that at a very early age something happened to you in those rooms...scolded by a relative or something more sinister (which i doubt) but the memory of the incident is locked away in a chamber and the conscious memory has long gone. But the subconscious never forgets and communicates in images and the incident/s is representing itself as an apparition...if it bothers you to know go and get regressed...you can have a lot of interesting sometimes life ultering experiences...have it recorded so you can listen to it later over and over...
it could also mean that something bad maybe about to happen to you or a loved one and a message is being passed through your subconscious and is using the safety you once knew to convey a warning...try to look for clues the next time your warned...they will be there.

To see Satan in your dream denotes that there is some wrongdoing or evil workings in your life or environment.

To dream that you are being watched suggests that you are feeling confined in your work environment or personal relationship. You are lacking privacy and feel you are being scrutinized or criticized.

If you would like to revisit my post...I said scolded..or something more sinister which I clearly state that I doubted...I never mentioned abuse of any kind..sinister could be anything such as a physical punishment...or time out which can be gruelling on a child who wants to run and play. I find it amusing that you post a thread seeking assistance with a reoccurring dream you are having trouble understanding...but you apparently undersyand everything it isnt...as for you knowing everything that happened to you as a child...laughable...go back to Tuesday of last week...get some paper and a pen and recall everything you did from the moment you woke up...it would be impossible for you to recall every incident...if you think you can...follow yourself for a day and record everything you do on camera...don't watch the recording...then 1 month later write down everything you can remember...then watch the recording in awe at everything you missed...that's just from a month ago...so don't make claims you know what did or didn't happen to you at the age of 4 or 6...
