I'm in the bev industry and we were selling container loads to Venezuela. They had lots of rules/regs for entry before all of this mess. Then, their .gov told them they couldn't take our product in the current form....so we produced it in a different form in a different packaging just so they could import it. This was all over a year ago. I think we stopped importing all together about 3 months ago due to volatility of ForEx and the companies not paying their bills.....

So spend all other peoples money them blame otger people for your failed economy. Seems ligit

The moral of the story is communism doesn't work. When will fools ever learn this?

Oh NO not the POLAR! Worst beer I have ever had. Like a lot of 3rd world breweries they use formaldehyde, yuk.

Funny thing though is the POLAR Bear on the tiny can. Sitting out on the veranda and just tossing the empties at your feet you would soon be knee deep in aluminum cans.

The moral of the story is that when you travel other countries don't poison your soda with high fructose corn syrup, they use real sugar.

You have never tasted a coke so good as when you visit S. America, Asia, etc. It is what soda used to taste like when you were a kid.

well, less suger could be a good thing for everyone in venezuela.

In the future, Venezuela becomes the healthiest population with the longest-living people and the lowest tooth decay and mortality rates, and lower rates of environmental pollution from old plastic bottles. Because they banned coca cola and barley.

But without the barley, what will they drink to get drunk when they're sleeping on the bus stop bench?

When the venezuelans come across the border with a gut-full of drugpills in their distended stomachs, and the mothers have their anchor babies in the walmarts in texas, and they start the black hole of economics around, stealing and laundering, in other countries for the bottomless pit of bad government, then it will concern you. The point of a good economy is so that people never have to immigrate. Now it's a problem.

Tell you what. They can build a factory system and go work in Syria. Then the Syrians can go to Venezuela, and in between of everybody working off loans of travel, it looks like an economy. Which is ironic because I thought Venezuela had problems because of the war in Syria, the drug connections, but I don't know anything.

Well, the government took over the coutry's most productive farms, and, gave them to someone that didn't know how to farm.

The moral of the story is you cannot resist central banks.
