Products were both packaged for sale as individual products and repackaged by places like Piggly Wiggly, Kroger and ConAgra foods as ingredients in a host of other store-brand and private-label products for stores like Trader Joe’s and Costco.

Also, retailers including Target and regional distributors such as Midwest grocery chain Hy-Vee Foods have recently recalled products made by Tokyo-based Ajinomoto Windsor due to the company recalling 70 of its Asian variety products that contain CRF vegetables — about 47 million pounds worth — some of which were also sold in Canada and Mexico.

I found that I have a bag of frozen food that may have Listeria in my freezer.

I checked my freezer, my ex-wife is still there, no listeria.

This is what happens when all the food we eat runs through the same few hands before it gets to us. Its said that this illustrates how serious listeria is and ignores the danger of everyone eating from the same plate.

Thanks for the heads up. All my preps are either in cans or canned. Only things frozen are meats, chicken, and fish....

Weird that this is all vegetable recalls...

I live in Chicago. I went to two different Jewels this weekend (midwest version of Albertsons) and nearly half the frozen vegatables were gone, there was a recall flyer but i didn't get a good look at it. The other half was on clearance.

I am unlucky customer of Costco and bought several packages as I like to stock up. Had cramping pain after my meals and the nights were spent in a bit of agony.

So, do take this seriously. I am relatively healthy but a compromised person may end up much sicker than this. Destroying the food supply through failure to maintain quality assurance standards at a time when food is going up is just really a reflection of bad management..across the board.

Since this is a conspiracy site, can we bring up the fact that it seems most of the recalled items are organic?

Maybe this is a way to get people to not trust organic foods and to eat more GMOs.
