OP, I noticed the same thing today. I had sunlight coming in my house from a more northerly direction and the rays were landing on a wall that never gets Sun this time of year.

You are absolutely correct. I just went out to close the chicken coop out by the garden and shooting range. I purposely positioned a solar panel to the west .. the setting sun is more intense and provides better charging. Two marine batteries and inverter provide power to the coop to do short chores.

Tonight the clouds to the north northwest were lite up from the setting sun.

For weeks the intense rain and clouds have obscured the sun.

Today was a f*cking serious a** tornado and insane flooding day. Neighbor houses and property being destroyed.

I don't know where you live, but here in the Mid-Atlantic it has been rainy, cold and foggy most of the month. Now that the sun is shining again, one notices the angle of sunrise/sunset and the length of days dramatically different than 30-40 days ago. It's just our sudden awareness of the seasonal changes. The Earth, Sun, Moon and Stars are all normal.

I noticed.

I never see the sun setting because I'm in my cave with a beer in my hand by that time.

But I see it come up in the morning, and it's definitely rising farther north.

I'm over a half century years old, so this old lizard has seen a sun rise or two.

Not only that, but it's been cooler here in the desert than normal for this time of year.

Although it is highly possible that people just didn't notice where sun sets and rises at this time of year, and considering that any amateur astronomer would notice that something is wrong with earth tilt, you must consider that OPs house did move. Earths crust moves, of course not that fast you would notice. But, some scientist have been hypothesizing that in some parts of the world crust is moving faster than usual, and that could explain strange sounds, booms, low frequency vibrations, sinkholes, cracks, newly formed crevices that are happening at alarming rate around the world. Depending on where OP lives, he really could be noticing different (wrong) positions of sun, stars and moon.
Only way to know if this this is true is to ask professional surveyor to inspect property or at least someone with more precise equipment.
There is no need to call people morons or crazy if they notice something like this.
