The research team discovered their Achilles heal. The FogDemons passion for living and obsession was gambling. Wagering was their narcotic. Winning their only goal. Winner take all was their ultimate God. Offer them a wager and they were hooked.

Mona and the Crisis Team now huddled to design a wager the FogDemons might honor. They first, however, needed to execute plan number one.

#Ten and #One were again engaged in their duel. This time, however, Mona was not going to interfere. The Bright Sphere and LeviathanV were content to watch from a safe vantage point. The show was impressive. These enormous Dyson Spheres were amazingly maneuverable. The plasma discharges surging from their surfaces were spectacular.

The trash talk between the other Spheres was escalating in volume and intensity. One could feel the show was about to result in a crescendo of finality.

Then it happened. #Ten passed by #One without making contact, looped in an incredibly tight trajectory and struck #One in the center of a previously damaged area with his undamaged surface. The breach was immediate and explosive.

Mona ordered the detonation of all warheads within #Ten. Destroying or disrupting all its Command Centers and breaching its surface at the point of collision. Before one could blink an eye both Spheres interior atmospheres explosively decompressed into the vacuum of space. The remaining spheres rushed forward to feed on both. No remorse or hesitation demonstrated.

Mona was both relieved and sickened by the spectacle. She now knew the Spheres could be destroyed.

Mona was notified by the Sisters to come to the laboratory immediately.

The four seem to be bickering about what area of the containment room they control.

In the center of the large laboratory was a transparent containment room. Within this box were what appeared to be four amorphous clouds. Between them were occasional light blips erupting periodically.

Sam1 announced to Mona and those with her the following: “You are looking at what we think are the Commanders of Sphere #Ten and #One with their primary companions. The four seem to be bickering about what area of the containment room they control.”

Mona responds: “Why am I not surprised! Sam, please announce we wish to communicate?”

I apologize for my absence. I feel there is a crisis now under way not only in the US but world wide. I attend a small Baptist Church in Texas . . . not the one attacked this Sunday. I am very disturbed by what happened in Las Vegas, NYC and in Texas, just out side of San Antonio. I think some of us with respect for traditional values, individual rights and religious beliefs are in the violent cross hairs of several hate groups. This may not get better for some time. My church is mixed both culturally and by race, being Hispanic, African American, and White. We were all crushed by the events that just happened but pray something good can eventually come from the tragedy. We believe God is in control and his will will always prevail.

I will return when I get my head on straight again.

Perhaps George B is done with the tales of Mona? I have so enjoyed this and looked forward to each installment (post). Hopefully, Mona will go on. At the same time, I understand if George B needs to move on. However, this will be missed. blwkss

Thank you for those very kind words, it is greatly appreciated. I am mulling over several issues which have kept me preoccupied. There is a significant probability I will return to the story of Mona. However, the present rub of the world is overwhelming my creative energies. Love and respect always.

God will not do what we are able to do for ourselves! We must do what God will not do! Since God gave his creation “Free Will,” we must petition God to act on our behalf. Without prayer God will not act. Normally, prayer is your petition and permission for God to act when you are unable. It is that simple.

Been thinking about your response for a bit now.
The world is topsy-turvy. The world is mad as a hatter.
Having been raised in a multi-generational family of mystics, madmen, conspiracy theorists, farmers, and teachers, et al, my own summation (always pending potential revision} is this: The cry of "Conspiracy!" and "World Madness!" is the cry of the awakening system slave. (BTW, I dare say you are way down the road past waking up.) That cry is a rightful recognition of current and consensus reality. However, it has always been like this. And many people, reaching some level of awareness regarding their personal state, and the global situation, see certain events/situations/dynamics as something awful, unusual, offensive to their Being. They're not wrong. And they might call it a conspiracy. Well, it is all the horrible things they believe. It is also just business as usual. Always has been. Ever-increasing informational connectivity just makes it more obvious and available, and painful.

So the awakening system slave wants to shout the TRUTH from the rooftops. Oh, we are so naive about the myriad, wondrous ways humans are and have been enslaved without their awareness - even as they sit among all the glitzy, lovely stuff that fills their lives. Make no mistake, I like my own glitzy stuff - rocks, mylar ribbon, you know.

Folks just weren't or aren't aware of their slave status. Even the Trumps, Rothchilds and Obamas, et al, of the the world, are members of some, same club in a strata above mine, certainly. They do not suffer genuine, material want, never have and never will. (Not even addressing spiritual want here.) Yet, even they are but minions of whoever/whatever the system lords are. They are the foxy, front singers trotted out to keep all of us in line - or at each other's throats. And they are paid very well.

I am not saying there are not conspiracies. There are. I have watched so many proven to just be facts of life, while other theories drop away or reappear modified. Along with others, I have witnessed horrible events over more than 60 years.

My inner monologue goes: "What are you gonna do about it, slave? Do you even have a real clue as to who the real "system lords" are? Or, what to do (on your fixed income) if you figure it out? After all the theories are discussed till they are shredded, do you know?" I have my own clues; but, no, I do not Know.

Maybe more useful to ask: Why, over millennia, has there been such a grand and continuous effort to keep Humanity fractured and fractionalized, and fighting amongst itself like starving junkyard dogs? What could happen if Humanity actually united? Who or what fears that unity manifesting - and apparently always has feared that very thing? People have a lot of theories to that last question; but no one has yet figured it out, including me.

Honestly, my family was never terribly fond of my viewpoints.

The reality and general potential of increasingly more instant connection, thanks to the internet, has made information gathering regarding topics of interest, as well as topics of great disturbance, imminent, immediate, and right in our faces, eyes and ears. It is relentless, if one lets it be. If one cares, it can be heart-rending.

The punch-line, for me, is that while we can know so much more, so much faster, it doesn't mean we can do anything about it other than what we are trying to do already. (And that would be its own conversation.)

From what I can tell, historically, there has always been something hinky going on somewhere on this fair planet.

Please understand, I chuckle a little to myself as I write this. It is all so absurd, relentless, unnecessary - and heartbreaking for so many who I must consider to be the Innocents.

So, to Mona. What a grand tale that does not pretend all of existence is eternally sweet and kind, or just one way - yet tries to forge a worth-while, life affirming path through the Universe.

My favorite, Texas Uncle, who I adored - and who was sure I was quite nuts, myself (might have been correct), after some family intimidation directed at me (to keep me in line), lovingly said: "I don't know if you are too stupid or nuts to know when to belly up." My only response was, "Yes." I was seventeen at the time, and had chosen to keep my own opinion rather than surrender it to their's.

So, George B, whatever trail you continue to forge - whether it is a return to Mona or on to elsewhere, please do not let the condition of the mad world dictate your course. Please do not let anything tie your spirit into an untangleable knot that STOPS your expressions and your creativity. Or, use what tangles to move your expression into something you find useful and beautiful - and, hopefully, something you will again choose to share with us. I have been uplifted by Mona's tale.

And, remember, angst may be good for poetry. It is not so useful for prose.

Light, Life and Love to You and Yours in the coming year.

Very thoughtful and beautifully written! Thank you much for sharing this here.

I harbor many of your same thoughts and experiences. I am presently hopeful the matrix is becoming visible, the mirror in Plato’s cave is becoming a bit more clear. I never give up or give in. I just needed some down time to think and reflect. I am traveling to my origins and enjoying one of my favorite hobbies . . . photography. The arguing FogDemons went silent for the first time since they were scooped up and placed within the containment room. Mona stopped her countdown. She states: "Good! You seem ready to talk. First you will acknowledge you are subject to my authority. Any one here refusing to acknowledge my authority will be flushed into deep space immediately. You will now pledge your cooperation. Now!"

The FogDemons reluctantly acknowledged Mona’s undeniable authority or die.

Mona continues: “You ethereal sentient beings have evolved from a corporal form not unlike ourselves. However, your moral development was stunted for reasons unfathomable to me. While my assessment based on extensive observations and knowledge gleamed from your own history are extensive, they do not explain how you got to where you are now. It is a mystery. No matter how you got into your present state, it is over. You will change or we will end you and your species’ reign of terror. Do you understand?”

Mona continues: “You four combatants will be sent to four of your remaining Spheres. You will tell your fellow FogDemons they will be destroyed if they do not acknowledge my authority and directions. You tell them without such acknowledgement within an hour, one of their auxiliary command nodes will be destroyed. This will continue each hour until all of the Command nodes are destroyed at which time their Sphere will be breached and evacuated into deep space. Do you understand?”

Mona gave the order to send the abductees to randomly selected Spheres. “Let the countdown begin.”

The Sisters, Sam1 and Dr. Dearborn had been digging into the FogDemon’s history (since they had access several weeks before) at a fevered pace and alerted Mona on some peculiar issues and traits. As was discovered the Demons had once been bipedal corporal beings. They were highly advanced technologically and went on a quest to advance to a higher form of existence. They evolved through a stage of biological and robotic fusion to become machine/biological hybrids. This stage of technical evolution was not satisfying and they sought to progress further.

A few billion years before they decided to free their consciousness from all structured impediments such as a body. In doing so they felt they were now superior to all life forms. Their status became devoid of any limitation of lifespan, disease and for the most part accidental termination. They were basically immortal and also rejected moral or ethical restraints.

They slowly became reprobates, sick and self serving. Their entertainment and focus degraded as they turned inward searching for a purpose to exist. What they found was a social structure dominated by wagering and war. Since they were all approximately equal, they were forever trying to exploit the tiniest detail of superiority over each other. They bonded together to form collectives that were contained in a group of Dyson spheres. Each Sphere wagering and fighting over the destruction of celestial bodies and sentient civilizations.

The four miscreants found themselves quantum leaped into the Main Command Center of four different Dyson Spheres. The occupants were as startled as the leapers. This had never happened before and there was no precedent for the event. After a few minutes of security concerns all involved settled down for a significant discussion.

The FogDemons were appalled by the implications. They were not the dominant force in the known universe after all. They were subject to a more powerful force and intelligence. What do they do? Capitulate? Run? Worship this Godlike power?

All the while Mona and the Crisis Team are listening to the entire range of conversations. It was almost comical. These beings had never been challenged in their entire existence. LeviathanV and Mona’s Hidden Galaxy Team, in their compressed state, were almost insignificant in size but had the entire FogDemon Empire by the throat.

Mona was not sure of the next move but as usual relied on her intuition, bolstered by her strong moral compass and the Federation’s Code of Ethics. She knew she had to promote and defend life and especially Sentient life whenever and wherever she found it. However, FogDemons were an aberration. They were sentient life but had been a threat to all life, including their own.

The spared FogDemons were frantic to convince their fellow combatants to listen to the threats form Mona. They were pleading and pleading for their fellow Demons to capitulate. However, their response was tepid at best. Mona and the Crisis Team noting this decided to snatch the four messengers and send them to the remaining Dyson Spheres.

Mona gave the order to begin the detonation of the warheads in the four warned Spheres. Within seconds four auxiliary Command Nodes ruptured into fire and debris.

As the detonations were on going in the first four Spheres, Mona was transmitting the following transmission. “FogDemons you must adopted a purpose and chose life. Turn from your old destructive path or experienced death. We will assist you; we have done so before many times. However, you must chose this by your own free will. We give you two of your days to decide. You cannot run from us, you cannot hide from us, you cannot defeat us. We could have ended your miserable existence already. It is your choice.

We will return in two days. If you decide before then, we will know. If you ask for information it will be provided.”
