Spiders don't phase or bother me. I don't kill them unless they are a black widow, which I've twice been bitten by. But not as bad as I expected either, just a nice red sore stinging for 2 weeks. Spiders eat lots of other insects, thank goodness, they help out. I treat spiders like praying mantises..
Snakes are a little different. Mostly, just don't like rattlesnakes too much, but see 'em out there quite alot. They haven't tried to bite, even as I often inadvertently jog 2'-3' away.
Scorpions are cool, not too scary, but sometimes hard to smash with their exoskeleton shell. I once saw one approaching me in a grocery store on the floor, bag boy kept stomping on it about 4-5 times.
