I am attempting to warn other horse buyers out there to prevent a horse from being "recycled". This horse is going to be put up for sale without the fact announced that this 18 year old mare has health issues. She is a papered Hanoverian mare however papers don't matter in this situation. What sites can I go to that can help me with this? I have the original veterinarian work ups that prove the issues with this mare. she needs specialized care. I can't get the mare back because I took a friend's word and never wrote up papers that I would get her back if she did not work out. So now I am stuck as I was promised the horse back if it didn't work out and now they jacked up the price so high I can't buy her back. I am just trying to save this horse from one day ending up on the slaughter truck to mexico. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.  Post on the Chronicle of the horse forum - They will get the word out. They found Good Guinness in less than 48 hours while the FBI was just just spinning their wheels. Op was so certain she could trust her friend and believed every word. Now its too late. Op told me of this verbal contract two years ago and i told her she should have gotten this in writing. Everything in the verbal agreement was not honored including the price on the horse if the horse did not work out. I told Op you would have been better off leasing the horse out. And the most painful for the OP is she can no longer see the horse. Imo this is cruel as now the OP suffers as she has lost something that was so precious to her. This is sooo sad nothing the op can do about it. |
