Sometimes we all feel like what you describe. I think the greatest pleasures in life are small pleasures.

Beautiful sunset, a fresh rain...wonderful meal.

I quit expecting anything from people. That solved a lot.

You need another pet. With shelters so overrun with animals......a pet NEEDS YOU TOO.

I was depressed for years...until I finally understood how much God, our father , loved me. I turned to him, I had nobody, not even family. I was very hurt after an abusive childhood, and somehow he healed me of that pain, that emptiness. He can do the same for you. I also understand about your cat. I had one that meant the world to me. God has reassured me that I will be with him one day again. I look so forward to it. I'm praying for you. Reach out to him, he's listening and he loves you. He will fill that empty void in your heart.

This too! So many animals are in need of your love.

I think a lot of people feel like you do. My heart breaks for you about your kitty. Animals are really our best friends.

I can understand why you want it to be over..

But still somehow I believe..

That when you truly hit your lowest in life you hit rock bottom.

There is an opportunity to truly find the meaning of life to truly find your self.

You can see it in some movies for example V for vendetta or dragon ball Z Goku turns super saiyan when he most needs it when he is about to lose the fight with frieza he turns super saiyan when he most needs it.

And there are lots of other examples in movies aswell

That is why I made this post I am totally honest about how I feel at this moment I don't expect anything from anything or anyone.

Just want to know if there is ANYONE with that experience.

Jesus Christ is the answer. Take it from someone who tried everything and "had it all".....women, money yada yada. My life looked like everything most people want, and I HATED it. None of it means anything until you acknowledge your Creator. THEN you will find your true purpose.

so sorry about your cat and yes this world sucks , but hang on the trick is to find why God has you here and work on that. The longing in all of us is the Spirit knowing we have a wonderful future in Heaven.

Pray that God will help you and try and fill your Spirit with Him, His music , word ect.

You will be ok, friend. I feel down sometimes too and that is normal for us who are sensitives. I really think you should go straight to the animal shelter and find an animal who needs you. Animals are healers and your cat knew that you loved them. You will know when you see them. You are loved and pray that God will fill your heart with more love.

Whenever you let a pet cat outside, even for a short time, you risk it disappearing or dying. People don't want to believe this, but it is a fact.

Most of us feel the same as you do OP.
After 2 beers I will admit that this whole goddamn world is going to Hell in a hand-basket real fast.

You need to go to an animal shelter and get another cat.

Right now one is just as lonely as you are and is waiting for you.

We've been nursing a bunch of kittens from an overcrowded shelter.

They were all doing fine except for one that had some sort of internal problem. It died not more than an hour ago.

They need people to look after them.

help other humans who are in need

depression doesn't go away with a wave of a magic wand, it requires work. the world is fucked, but make good use of the days you have on earth. there are so many things out there to learn and experience and staying home brooding over anything is a good waste of daylight.

really try to connect with another human. you will try and fail, but you will eventually find some that you can relate to and that you can enjoy their company.

But I don't know about taking another animal. see my situation isn't that stable I live on government funds. I wouldn't want to lose another pet if I lose my income. Both for him and for me this would break my heart. Those animals in an animal shelter already had difficult lifes, they deserve a more stable home than with me.

Secondly this city i am living in is becoming more horrible by the day... animal haters are putting rat poison in the bushes here because they hate dogs and cats. Stupid DUMP shit people take pit bulls becouse they think it is cool to have a fighting dog.

I don't know about jesus but I do believe that all the material necessary for salvation is right there in your heart already. And if jesus was a man of god I think he would say the exact same thing. God placed salvation in your heart and yours only.

There are alot of people who die for that cause... not only jesus.



But.. I thank you for your time and advise tho It could always be that I am wrong and i can learn from you. or the other way around. Or.... we are all wrong and the answers are yet to come.

I do believe that feeling down tho is not a curse but an opportunity to find the light.
