I am more of a tropical beach goer, if beach going is the destination. They can be brutal to fair skinned lasses who haven't or are unable to sustain of good base tan.

Perhaps if there is a mutual beach visit, you should be the one to choose the beach, so as to avoid a serious burn.

I do well in the heat, but cold I find unbearable.

So be merciful in choosing the time and location.
