Watched it for days my mom thought there were survivers I said there all dead and reported to my guard unit to volunteer for a tour as everyone was a cherry poped mine in desert Storm ! Saw the news playing on block busters TV after landing and thought it was a movie. Later found out we were last flight that left from Detroit before they started to ground planes

My MSgt called me after the 2nd tower got hit and told me to bring my ass back to the hangar complex ASAP.

Then, she called again and told me another plain hit the WTC. I popped up because then I knew this was an act of war.
