California threatening to secede makes me think of an 8 year old threatening to run away.

The global elite got to be the global elite by structuring nations, unions and trade. It's how you get Spain owing Italy $45 billion while Italy owing Spain $90 billion instead of Italy owing Spain $45 billion. Which is what would happen in a logical, sane, and normal reality.

Logically, it will unwind as all systems that extend beyond the norm or the mean revert back to the norm, or average, undershooting the average only to swing back up. The people will unwind it, it seems insurmountable now with super nations and super states but as the debt problems intensify it will become a necessity for survival.

California is one of the donor states which means it pays more federal taxes than it gets back from the federal government by quite a bit. The federal government gives California taxes to other states instead.

Your state could be one of the states that benefits from California's tax money (and other donor states). Maybe you should check that out before hating on California and wishing for them to leave.

I hope someday that people realize that America has never been free since its emancipation. Unless the people govern themselves locally by jurisdiction or by tribes and without allowing a foreign entity to control them by currency or any other way they can never be free. A people must be governed by tribes without a king to rule over them. With a king and a government they will always tax and genocide their people always.
