Just heard a radio ad that said, "Please report any Veteran in your family that you think might have PTSD or depression"....hmmm

It should say please support everybody who suffers from PTSD.

PTSD IS TOTAL DESPAIR AND TREATMENT IS TOTAL DISTRACTION -NO OTHER OPTION.

Most people have no idea what PTSD is because it is as personal and as individual as grieving the loss of a loved one.

Have you ever seen a widow smile at a funeral? Do you think she is in less despair than that person who inconsolably breaks down in public?

The answers are "yes" and "no".

The truth is, most people who suffer from posttraumatic stress disorder don't even know it and they are never diagnosed because they cope through destraction and nobody ever notices.

Consequently, that person you see partying and laughing may in fact be a PTSD sufferer.

Indeed, that is probably the best way to cope. Party and laugh your ass off Mr. PTSD sufferer, you have earned that right !

The alternative is the PTSD sufferer will be overcome by rage and leave a trail of bodies behind him.

this goes in line with the NSA targeting veterans that write anti obama stuff online. to take their weapons away.

The goal of the ad is to take away their guns. It sounds like you might support that. How about let's just take away guns from any person that has ever seen a psychiatrist or psychologist or even a family counselor?

If taking their guns away wasn't the goal, they would have appealed to the vet themselves to get treated and not about turning them in.

Which will be replaced by "Please report anyone who does not support the Party"!
