Monsters Of The Id

There has been many mass killing incidents of late. The finger is being pointed at people of a certain race and beliefs, and in turn, these people are pointing the finger at other people of a certain race and beliefs. So on we all go justifying ourselves, and rationalizing our actions in the name of our beliefs, religion and god.

Guns and kitchen knives certainly are weapons that can be used to kill. But, no, don't put the blame on them, guns and knives cannot reason or think. Point the finger of blame on the one that uses them to kill. The problem lies in each and every one of us. Society as a whole, people as a whole are spiritually sick! Point the finger at yourself!

The bible plainly states that; 'There is none that does good, no, not one'! We are all guilty! Hate, darkness, death, have their origin in the heart of man. So stop speaking swelling words, justifying and rationalizing yourself, in the name of your god. And take a good look inside yourself, nothing will change, until you see, address and weed out within the darkness, the

Monsters Of The Id

As I proceeded to look inside my closet
I saw all kinds of skeletons hanging there
Immediately I removed them from my sight,
Perhaps deluding myself that they were gone
For mere thought can make anything disappear
Or a deceitful heart can falsify them
And make believe they were never truly there,
Anyhow, out of curiosity
I continued to proceed to look,
And in my closet there befell a darkness
Peering deep into the darkness
I beheld all kinds of monsters
Whose domain was in the Id
As they manifested themselves before me,
There were monsters of all different qualities
Of all different shapes, size and colour,
Each with its own tale of darkness to tell,
Monsters that were, monsters that are
And those that are still yet to be
That had come, and are yet to come
Into the play of everyday life
That contain all of one's anxieties and fears
Whether they be imagined or real
And play their role in the determination
Of what is, and will be,
Yet even all these I brushed aside
And pretended that they no longer exist
Or subjected any power over me,
I believed that I was big, complete and strong
A hero of some sorts, master of my domain,
Till I looked even deeper into the darkness
And beheld something that captured my attention
It was ominous, lurking in the shadows,
I could not define it, but I knew it was there
For the very darkness seemed to pulsate with its being,
And as the darkness proceeded to engulf everything
There fell upon me a terrorizing sense of despair,
What is it, I gasped, this terror in the darkness
That seemed to fall into an abyss of emptiness,
And as I looked deeper into the empty darkness
I beheld the biggest monster of all,
Something that I never truly faced
Or believed existed
The monster in the empty darkness,
Is me!
