Woman Accidentally Shoots Self At Gun Range Police: Hot Shell Casing Fell Down Woman's Shirt [link to www.nbc5.com] OKLAHOMA CITY -- A little target practice was too hot for an Oklahoma woman to handle. The woman accidentally shot herself on Wednesday, police said. Police said Anna Herrera-Gomez was practicing with a 9 mm gun at the H&H Gun Range in Oklahoma City when a hot shell casing fell down the front of her shirt. She jumped as the hot metal touched her skin and reached for her chest. Police said that's when she accidentally shot herself in the leg. "Of course, we train for this, but unbeknownst to us, we had a gentlemen on the range who was a trained EMT. (He) took care of it immediately, and even though it was a shooting, it was actually very minimal," said H&H Gun Range owner Miles Hall. Hall said the woman was embarrassed more than anything else. I had to grab the the gun late one night and run some punks off my property and all i had on was this little summer top and my g- string.I didnt even think about it at the time,I just pumped up the shot gun ,stepped out on the porch and started shooting.Thats about as close to being in my birthday suit with a gun that i have had so far.

Im getting up there in age but i still got it!i turn 43 on my next b-day and im still very happy with my body!I think its all this farm work im forced to do every day that keeps me in shape,wish i had some help but i can hang.

Figured I have had a gun in my hand for 10,000 hours or so[hunting for 50 years at 200 hours a year], and yep there have been a couple of f-ups. Almost shot my hunting dog once thought he was the rabbit in thick cover, shot a tree once that I didn't want to do, and shot the ground once while unloading an old Winchester lever gun. Oh and there was that broken neighbor's window from a bad bounce by a BB when I was a little kid. You remember the mistakes.
