Zika/Olympics: What are the odds? Seriously, what are the odds?

what is the easiest and most effective way to spread a virus around the world? A way to ensure that it reaches almost every country?

If there was only some way to get groups people from every country from around the world to come to one spot, get infected then go back home to infect the rest of the people in that country. Hmmmmm, if there was only some thing that every country would want to participate in so that they all would show up to at he same time. Then all that would have to be done is to infect the area where they have all gathered...hmmmm, what could it be...The Olympics!!


Every country can close their borders, but if they send athletes, support personnel, reporters, TV crews...it aint going to matter.

1) What are the odds that about the same time the Olympics start that the Zika virus has mutated into something much worse?

2) How long after everyone returns home does news of the mutation start to leak out?

With everything else going on in this world, imagine adding a deadly pandemic to the top of it.
