What is missing from the Conversation, are those characteristics which make an individual 'Conservative' versus the RINO/Fake Conservative.

Just an FYI, I joined the Constitution Party this year, as the Constitution Party platform is one I can respect, being former Marine Corps and with an oath to honor.

The actions taken by the GOP and the Trump campaign to silence the voice of conservatives and to centralize power away from the grassroots will not be accepted.

This is not about a candidate, campaign, or crying but courageously defending the rights of activist and party members to be heard. We will be announcing the formation of a Conservative Council that will be made up of grassroots activist and will guide those conservatives whose voices Washington DC and party elites refuse to hear. We will no long sit in silence as the corrupt party bosses collude and make back room deals in a vain filled effort to maintain power.

The Conservative Council will also announce the date and details for a national #GOPEXODUS. The GOP has lost its way, from the days of its founding to the recent convention in Cleveland, it's clear we are no longer the party of Reagan. Progressives like Chris Christie, Steve King (NY), John McCain, Mitch McConnell, and Paul Ryan have made a deal with Donald Trump to rid the party of constitutional conservatives and denied us a voice at the convention.

As we embark on our exodus we will begin to establish a process whereby we seek the options for the future of movement and create processes to achieve these goals. These tasks are not inclusive but only to set forward a vision and a path to finding a home for conservatives. We welcome you to join the discussion.

I honestly hope that the Republican Party dies after this election. Maybe that Party will rise. Adherence to a party whose only platform is the document it references is something I could really get behind again

It has helped sharpen my mind and discernment. Maybe some of you should really look at what you 'think' you are supporting!

They will not die but you can bet your boots they will be having a serious meeting on how to regroup and get back on course.

In the very least, and the country loses its mind and she is elected, the GOP will be watching for Hillary to fall on her face and be ready for a strong run in 2020.

You are right Bodiless, Trump has a lot going on for his strength in message. But what people really want is the trust and continuity, to be sure Trump will do everything he says he will. I don't think this country can stand any more heartbreak. We have been sold down the river with Obama. I have raised my children not to hate, but in all honesty, I have had a hard time with this myself.

Never in my life did I ever think it would be this insanely horrible, the issues that have been forced on us to accept with little regard for what the majority wants and needs. The worst part is how to explain it to young folk, they cannot remember what we do, back when life was not just good but predictable even in the worst of times.

Bodiless, I know that GLP has been a Pro-Trump forum for sometime now and I have not hid my feelings/research about him. He is a long-time friend of the Clintons. You have a discerning mind, I have seen that in your posts, over the years. Use that discernment now.
