No, he means VATT. LUCIFER is a camera for the Large Binocular Telescope, not VATT. The LBT is a different observatory on the same mountain as VATT. The Vatican observatory originally existed as a result of the reform of the calendar in 1582, transferring from a Julian calendar to a Gregorian calendar.

In the Julian calendar the length of a year is defined as 365.25 days exactly. In the Gregorian calendar the length of a year is 365.2425 days long, which is a little closer to the true length of a tropical year (about 365.242189 days long). Under the Julian calendar the calculated date of Easter was slowly drifting away from the vernal equinox (about 11 minutes per year), which was the time decided upon at the first Council of Nicaea. By 1582 the calculated date for Easter was over a week from where it should have been, which is the sunday after the full moon following the true date of the vernal equinox.

The "computed date" of the vernal equinox on the Julian calendar was fixed at the 21st of March, but the true date of the equinox drifted on that calendar (due to the difference in the defined length of the year versus the true length) over the thousand+ years from the time it was set in the first Council of Nicaea.

Initially the Vatican observatory was all about improving the accuracy of the calendar (hence the name Gregorian calendar for Pope Gregory XIII). By the 19th century the observatory had taken on a more political purpose, to demonstrate that Catholics were not hostile towards science. Now it continues that role as a research observatory.

The questions to ask are... 1) why are meteor/fireball sightings increasing every year, and dramatically so?

3) why, just in the last two years, have astronomers and scientists flipped astronomy on its head by admitting that maybe we do have a binary twin, confirming that there are other previously unknown planets in fact quite close to us, and recently saying they believe there are more planets in our solar system?

4) why are earthquakes increasing, and volcanic activity is at an extreme amount?

5) why are so dang many people talking about the sun not rising and setting in its normal place, or being out of place during the day?

Here are my measurements of the sun this evening. First, here's a picture of the sun I shot on a tripod with my camera and a Thousand Oaks Type 2+ solar filter:

It was a bit cloudy, but still a serviceable photo for these purposes. EXIF data intact, the time zone is eastern time, 4 hours behind UT. I left the camera undisturbed for several hours and then took a 1 second exposure without the solar filter:

Yes, for convenience I was shooting through my window the whole time. Not going for pretty astrophotography here. I then layered the two images together so that the sun's previous position in the image could be directly seen in the second image. I also used dynamic background subtraction to remove the light pollution:

The astrometry isn't perfect, but again, it's serviceable for our purposes. Note that the resolution of the image is 12 arcseconds per pixel. 20/20 vision is the ability to resolve a spatial separation of 1 minute of arc, 60 arcseconds, so this image is about 5 times higher in resolution than that.

Now, I used my spreadsheet to calculate the expected location and geometric alt/az of the sun using Newcomb's theory:

The wide orbit represents what Planet 9's orbit would roughly look like. The red orbit shows the old Harrington Planet X, and then within that you have an example of a conspiracy nut version of Planet X, Gill Broussard's Planet 7X. The last one passes through the inner solar system, all the others stay outside it.

What "it?" If you refer to Planet 9, then no, I didn't make any boo boo since I've said for years that a planet could exist beyond the Kuiper belt. When "it" doesn't show up by naked eye, let alone next to the sun so bright it shows up in cell phone cameras, will you admit you were wrong and I was right all along? And how long will you wait to make that admission?
