Quoting: Anonymous Coward 65267488 What I tend to do in order to not waste any precious fats I throw in half a tin of baked beans in tomato sauce (classic uk baked beans) and the end of the fry up in the frying pan and soak up in the sauce all the fats its deficient of anyway.

About a year ago I read a blog about baking it. I tried it once and never looked back! In the oven there is no need to flip around and have to constantly watch. It does not crinkle and whither up. It stays long and flat. No grease splatter. And you still have the bacon grease in the pan to use to fry eggs or make pancakes with. I put pepper and some hot sauce on top sometimes. My favorite is putting brown sugar on top and let it darken a bit.

I do it in the over. Line baking pan with foil -- easy clean up. Oven 350 degree till done -- I like to turn the bacon a couple times to make it cook more even. Drain on paper towel. Mess contained.
