Just Bought my typical Work Gloves at Home Depot. Inflation is Crazy High.

Hell, I use those deer skin gloves and they are over 20 a pair now. Up from 12 just three years ago!

Inflation is pretty high, I'm fortunate to be making good money these days because I don't know how anyone can manage on jobs under $15 an hour. I make $3400 a week and I still find most prices for basic goods to be rediculous. Last time I did my budget my food expenditure for just myself and the occasional treating someone out here and there was around $29,000 which is rediculous

Nothing bullshit about it, eating out and eating real and organic food is getting quite expensive. In my case as I've made more throughout the years I've become much more loose with my spending where as before when I used to make $40-50,000 a year I used to be incredibly frugal I've just recently been paying attention.

Inflation is well hidden, you typically don't notice the quality standards dropping. The introduction of poison to your foods to make them easier to grow at scale. The gardening tools you may purchase might look the same but they are likely made of inferior materials and wood. That shovels handle made of the cheapest new growth wood will last maybe 5 years maximum before snapping, most likely 1-2 years if you actually use it where as a quality made shovel with old growth hardwood could last 50 years or more. It's all hidden in inflation, the price may be within reason but to do so there has been many cuts. It's now made from a third world peasant using the cheapest metals and the cheapest wood and sold to a big box store who demands the cheapest prices for an absurd quantity.

You get to buy your crap, but for anyone that wants quality in their food or their life we pay through the nose and we do so because it is the true reflection of inflation

Instead of bitching about it, start a small business here in the US and make QUALITY, DURABLE work gloves at an affordable price.
I will bet if you make a good glove, you could make some good money.
