I am taking:

Calcium, Magnesium and Vitamin D
K2
Aged Garlic
Vitamin C
L-Lysine
Fish Oil
and
Glucosamine and Chondroitin

What other vitamins are a good idea?

Don't take calcium unless you test low for it or take it once a week.

Vitamin D3 is critical and most Americans are low. Get a serum level over 80

If you are male take a zinc/copper blend with the right ratios..

Focus on minerals if you eat right.

Vitamin B is a no brainer.

Instead of those orange flavor vitamin c pills take 1/4 tsp ascorbic powder in water daily.


For arthritis take NZ Green Lipped Muscle extract daily.

Potassium Iodide is cheap. I happen to buy 32.5 milligram tablets from Vitacost.com. I take 1/4 tablet twice a week. Monday and Thursday. 240 tablets for about $25. 480 weeks for $25!

Too much iodine is not a good thing and it will not be absorbed anyways. Pay attention to micrograms vs. milligrams. RDA is 150 micrograms. 1050 micrograms per week is RDA. I take 1050 micrograms in my daily multivitamin each week AND the 1262 micrograms in the potassium iodide each week. Plenty unless you are starting out with a deficit.

77.7% of potassium iodide is iodine.
32.5 milligram tablets contain 2525.3 micrograms of iodine.
1/4 tablet contains 631 micrograms of iodine, which is about 4 times the RDA.

Really. 1dunno1 Quit throwing your money for that sh*t and just eat plenty of fruits an vegetables and you'll have no need for any vitamin ever (except for B12). Oh, and get some sunshine for vitamin D. Being out in the sun for a while is great for your body. If God intended us to take vitamins via pills, the pills would grow on plants instead of fruits and vegetables. It's a way for big pharma to make a buck selling you something that you can effortlessly acquire if your diet isn't shi*t (meat, dairy, eggs, processed food, mcdonalds, and other cr@p).
