STUDY: Zika Virus targets memory in adults, mirrors Alzheimer's disease
It goes after 2 regions of the brain, learning and memory regions. Think about that...This thing is nasty!! They are going after people's memories and the ability to learn...and you thought "millennials" were dependent enough already...just wait, just wait, they are cooking up something much worse

"The Zika virus may cause long-term damage to the memory which mirrors the effects of Alzheimer’s disease a new study suggests.

... new study suggests that Zika can also infect the brain cells of adults, causing long term damage to memory.

Zika can clearly enter the brain of adults and can wreak havoc,” said Professor Sujan Shresta, a member of the team from the La Jolla Institute of Allergy and Immunology in California, USA...

The scientists used fluorescent biomarker "tags" to indicate when adult brain cells were invaded by the virus.

Their results, published in journal Cell Stem Cell, show that the virus targets two specific regions of the adult brain critical to learning and memory.

Professor Joseph Gleeson, from Rockefeller University, said: "Our results are pretty dramatic - in the parts of the brain that lit up, it was like a Christmas tree.

"It was very clear that the virus wasn't affecting the whole brain evenly, like people are seeing in the foetus. In the adult, it's only these two populations that are very specific to the stem cells that are affected by virus. These cells are special, and somehow very susceptible to the infection.

"Based on our findings, getting infected with Zika as an adult may not be as innocuous as people think.

In every operation, whether planning it or executing it, you can never count on luck; but you have to accept it, and recognize it when it’s there.

Zika has been around quite a long time and was fairly innocuous in terms of its impact. Something has changed over the past decades to degrade the human body's functioning systems - from DNA on up - thus making it more susceptible to induced collapse by what were previously rather harmless viruses.

Here is the reason...ask yourself how many countries are NOT at the Olympics in Rio?? And of those, how many are not 3rd world countries?

This thing will spread to every corner of the globe after the Olympics, then it will wipe memories and inhibit everyone's ability to learn....hmm, so no one will remember how things used to be and they won't be able to learn...imagine that!!!!!

Yeah, the future looks bright!!

Conversely, zika could have picked up a few mutations. There is a lot of gene sharing going on out there, outside and inside the lab.

What areas of the body do the insecticides that kill the mosquitoes carrying the Zika virus destroy?
