I thought about society as a homologous system to build a mental construct to build a sense of identity whilst maintaining a degree of individuality.

In that I identify as an Australian and as white I’m regarded as a Caucasian. But the identity of the average Australian is to drink way too much and be a general buffoon on the global stage. Effectively making me someone to be mocked for a good time. This identity isn’t unpopular and makes for firm friends with most people as the source of much amusement and merriment.

However, this thought isn’t about the public perception of Australians. But rather the desire to live in homologous societies as we experience “normalcy bias” to create a mental construct of self-acceptance to build self-esteem in own perception of ourselves. We assume everyone is like us, in that they share both experience and belief structures to develop a concept of society. However, this is rarely the case even in families. In that as individuals with differing experiences to effectively colour our perception of not only ourselves but the society and each other.

With something as complex as society with individuals as self-interested as to constantly compete over everything and anything that differentiates as being part of society for acceptance yet superior to inflate our perceptions of self or society’s perception of us to garner influence.

In that in an individualistic sense, a homologous society is undesirable in that each person finds meaning through being different and ultimately exotic. An acceptance based on merit rather than perceived similarities of individuals. One would postulate that similar traits are only a system of empathy, for those who would display undesirable methods of acquisition.

In that, farmers are suffering from drought and these farmers have similar physical traits. And as such you must send them money despite receiving subsidies for underproduction of resources…

People assume other people are like them although they are not and think they “feel” empathy for others who suffer.

Although those who do suffer usually do so through their own actions, either through mal-investment or undesirable actions.

But I’ve gone off on a tangent. The original concept of this thread was the superimposition of beliefs onto others as a form of societal cohesion for the purpose of creating a likely solution towards the thought of a model of cooperation towards the construction of a legacy of wealth.

Ultimately this wealth is despised due to envy from those unwilling or unable to build wealth for themselves.
But the fact remains the sense of self that people derive from undeserved physical traits. Traits that form a legacy of perceived genetic success although such success is nothing more than the successful reproduction of genes…

Seeking to validate oneself through a societal acceptance rather than a lack of actual merit. I think indicates a level of insanity that shows nothing but a capacity for programmability.

In that those who derive a sense of self through identifying as something based on nothing more than a perception of desirability by an entity which does nothing to edify one’s own sense of wellbeing. Is beyond a shadow of a doubt a level of cognitive dissonance which should not be publicly endorsed.

One can only question either one’s intellect or sanity when questioned by something which is irrelevant.
