Has Anyone Ever Heard a Greek or Arabic word or phrase that sounds like ISOCKSA or ISOXA (phonetic spelling, of course)?
I woke up this morning dreaming of my old Lebanese Christian landlady from decades ago. I dreamed that she was going through the house yelling something that sounded like ISOCKSA or ISOXA. Have no idea if this means anything, never heard it before - she spoke Arabic and Greek and am wondering if this is a word or phrase in either language. She sounded angry or upset.

Thanks for any info, appreciate it.

Thanks, I have no idea what it could be if anything. They spoke Arabic and Greek. I don't know either language, maybe it's something else. It's just odd to wake up from a dream with someone yelling that.

ISOC stands for Islamic Society- an organization with known and well-publicized links to terrorism.

Thank you all for the info, very strange. Don't know why I'd be dreaming of her after all these years -decades really- and why she's be shouting something like that, whatever it means. She wasn't Jewish though. Lebanese and part Greek, and an Orthodox Christian.
