I hope sinners care about what I say, because I care about what they do. If they do not fear the Lord now they surely will not be saved when their fear is the wrong kind of fear, of the face of death and not the fear of the face of the Lord. Repentance means you know what is wrong and deep down you don't want to be a liar, a thief, someone who hates others, a name-caller, a gossiper, an enemy, a lustful person, etc. Instead you want to be a good person, a respectful, right person who isn't afraid to do the right thing, who hates evil and judgmental thoughts, who cannot hate anyone only the wrong things they do, who loves to help others become better with teaching, etc. Then THAT person must be forgiven for all the times they HAVE DONE wrong by asking the Lord Jesus for forgiveness. THEN they WILL receive his forgiveness and they will know it! Then if they truly want to be good, really truly, like as good as God is good, then they must ask Jesus for the Spirit of God the Creator to be part of them self, and then in that order they WILL receive the Spirit of God!
