I would hate to imagine anyone that has lost a child could even imagine some prick digging them up in the future and unwrapping them, it ain't a present. |

The red hair was probably prized and the skull shaped for maximum density of hair. Origin: Iranian Alan human migration (aliens) |

To date only bones from three individual Denisovans have been found and we don't know al that much about this race in our family tree. These elongated skulls from Peru just may be our cousins. Similar but not quite modern human. |

Peru Skull DNA is Haplogroup U2e1.....This is BIG [/quote From the original article: ]DNA testing of the baby Paracas was conducted in the Lakehead University lab in Canada, as well as perhaps one or two other labs in the United States. The results that came back showed only one discernible haplogroup present, that of U2e1. This haplogroup is not associated with Native Americans, but WITH proto-Germanic and proto-Balto-Slavic speakers! Contamination has been ruled out. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 72595724 United States 09/10/2016 03:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What baffles me in this subject of elongated skull people that also share DNA with Caucasians is where did they come from and where did they go? 2000 years ago and older they were here, now they are gone. 2000 years is too short a time for this feature to breed out. Perhaps round headed peoples exterminated them completely? Also it seems that where ever these are found, it would seem the "long skulls" were a ruling caste over the round heads. Perhaps an uprising, rebellion, civil war scenario wiped them out completely? If the long skulls as a people were not completely killed out then they would still be present today and the genetics for long skulls would still occasionally be born today, just like in India where people are still born with a protruding remnant of a tail. |

Similar but not quite modern human. The answer to this thread is from an area just west of Lake Baikal, which is relatively close to the Denisovan Cave in south central Siberia. the oldest modern human genome sequenced to date They suggest about a third of Native American ancestry came from an ancient population related to Europeans. They found that a portion of the boy's genome is shared only by today's Native Americans and no other groups, showing a close relationship. Yet the child's Y chromosome belongs to a genetic group called Y haplogroup R, and its mitochondrial DNA to a haplogroup U. Look over [link to www.bbc.com] [link to science.sciencemag.org] ============ The incorrect statement made in the OP link, "This would indicate that the Paracas ancestors that had the haplogroup U2e1 haplogroup did not cross the Bering land bridge with the Native Americans..." Fails to consider this oldest connection with europeans. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 70030778 United States 09/10/2016 04:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Native Americans have a DNA link back to ancestors with a european connection. This actually includes me. I base this on the National Geographic Geno 2.0 next generation testing I had done. I show 5% NA 4% Finnish Siberian 3% East Asian. 2% Asia Minor (Which is possibly from the area where the 4 year old boy with the oldest human genome yet sequenced came from. This looks to be a fairy diverse mix that made many Native Americans. |
