when you click back and nothing happens, they you check the back button history and you get the same page over and over again... like when your pc get a virus etc.

Why use back button? Just open threads in a new tab and then close tabs when done..

Back button is no good..

Are you on phone or computer?

Get out of the habit of using the back button.
Since you are on laptop, just open threads in new tabs..that way, your place is always saved and you do not encounter this issue..

you are completely missing the point.

it indicated there is malware coming from glp, I think it may be the adverts.

also you 'solution' isn't relevant as the back button has a specific usage. I want to go back not open a new tab.

I used a http inspector to analyse what was going on, saw a load of advert addresses, blocked them all now its not happening.

I notice I need to click the x to stop it from endlessly refreshing, before I can click on the refresh button. Page opens hundreds of times in the history.

Also when I leave the computer alone for a while, I need to alt-tab away from the browser and back before being able to click on anything
