I remember such legislation, and it is STILL on the books. Religious freedom in the USA was not created to eliminate religion, but simply to keep us from a State endorsed religion…. Christianity IS and WAS legally the "religion" to which there was freedom of expression. This NEVER applied to other sects or religions such as Islam or satanism… NEVER!
