Hi grumpier. Must say that i love this thread and i didnt intend to post here initially, especially since the ongoing nCoV situation and the energy and effort that you put in to that.

If there is one thing that has bothered me for the past few years it is the following:
I have been composing music on guitar as my greatest passion in life but lately the inspiration and motivation has gone down drastically. Can i ask for insipration and maybe new lines of thought? I seem to be stuck..

I ask, humbly, for healing of pain on left side of body. It's been 2 years and doctors cannot find anything. I cannot afford any more tests. I'm so weak, I cannot walk across a room. I am older widow who just wants to keep working. I have a wonderful job and work from home. I would like to keep a roof over my head and to be here to counsel my grown children/grandchildren/great grandchildren. Thank you in advance.

All I have is voicemail files I recorded
on my phone. I tried to convert them on a
Win10 laptop that died during an invisible update.
I've never really written anything.

I learned the "riddle of volume" playing in
the church band years ago. I have since modded my
guitars and finally have the necks adjusted.
They get the tone without the loudness crutch now,
and still sound amazing cranked.

It has taken me years to get my chops back to
where they were, I'm just not crazy about the
half-baked contemporary 501c3 songs they play.
In fact, several of my favorite performers have
since fallen to various issues and tarps.
Playing for people is great experience, I miss
the energy. Not into the bar scene anymore either.

I’m no different than all the others who need healing - but thought I would ask. Spiritually down, motivationally bankrupt, physically immune issues/hip issues/anxiety issues. Mother was/is schizophrenic and have been through a lot in life. I’m no longer who I used to be. Tired and jaded.
