thank you soooo much for your kind reply, i appreciate your time and gesture . it comes at a very dark time for me.
my wife of 15 years is killing herself with pain pills in the other room daily, nightly. and she knows whats shes doing but cant stop. in fact at this time she is showing signs of getting worse..shes gone to doctors and just came from paying to see a psychic to see if she can get a clue how a grasp her addiction. shes giving up. I been trying to be helpful but cant do anything more then break down, staying up at night and to make sure she is breathing. we have a kid together and its not looking at all like this is going to get any better. shes a zombie all day now..bumping into things, always high and loaded, so sad.. and i keep coming here to peek into this thread out of habit every night just about..i dont know why. i dont just want to see me end this next few days sitting under a tree crying cause this turned out in the worst way that its obviously going. ..i dont want it to end like this.

My middle son D, is an addict with an infant daughter, I know the sheer pain that comes from dealing with an addict, day in, day out. It's mind-numbing, it depletes us of energy, if we let it.
The sad truth, my friend, is that you cannot help your wife
until she is ready to help herself. She needs to be as tired of it all, as others around her are. It's encouraging that she will go to her doctors. She NEEDS to be honest with them, that her life is falling completely apart and she needs help to get off those pain pills.
Very definitely, you'll need to get and stay grounded. You need to be strong emotionally, taking care of you first, so you can be strong for your child, and strong for your wife too. One of the hardest things for you to do is NOT to enable your wife in any way. She very likely needs to 'hit bottom' so to speak, before she will see the need for herself to make changes.
My family has been torn apart because of my son's addiction and withdrawals. :'( Standing by him in his worst time, is the very hardest thing I've ever done. I'd like to turn tail and runnnn to be with the rest of my family, who have scattered to the east and west coasts. Yet I won't, because I love him, and even tho I won't enable him, just observe and be with him, we are seeing teensy tiny steps in the right directions. I had to learn the hard way how to reach him, in the ways that HE could feel the love. It was a lot like this pic:

There are support groups for the loved ones of addicts, both in person and online. Please find one that can be helpful for you, where you can vent, plus learn from others who have been there, done that. This is also where you can find that 'good energy' to keep yourself going. Turn it over to God, let Him direct your path. And if you can find at least one good friend to help be supportive, that can make a difference too.
Bless your heart for standing by your wife during her difficult time.
She needs to understand somehow that her choices and zombie-like actions 'could mean' losing both you and your child. Please know that you aren't all alone in this. Many have been there and know the difficulties you face. You can keep coming in here, and also into the daily prayer thread for support.
