Noticed this headline on msnbc.com . . . stay tuned
Wizard's Rule #1: "People are stupid. Given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. People will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool."
Primordial Rule: "The rule unwritten. It is the secret of all life. It is the essence of life itself. You are a creator and master of your own reality. You ultimately make your own rules."

Did the USA promise to the USSR to resolve the 1963 Russian missile crisis to 'never invade Cuba'?, or to 'never invade Cuba while Castro was alive'?

Hopefully, Raul takes over. Cuba doesn't need the disease of American capitalism on the island.

MADRID, Spain (CNN) -- Cuban leader Fidel Castro suffered from a serious infection of the large intestine and remains in serious condition, Spanish newspaper El Pais reported Monday.

The newspaper quoted two sources at a Madrid hospital, where a doctor, who visited the Cuban leader last month, works. The report said Castro had suffered complications after three failed surgeries to correct the problems.

The paper reported that Castro suffered from diverticulitis, an inflammation of sacs on the large intestine that can rupture and cause bleeding. The infection spread to the tissue on the walls of the abdomen, a condition called peritonitis.

The infections, the paper said, have impeded the healing process.

The report was posted on the newspaper's Web site.

Late last month, Dr. Jose Luis Garcia Sabrido, chief of surgery at the public hospital Gregorio Maranon de Madrid, said that Castro is recovering from his ailments and does not have cancer. Castro is doing "fantastically well" with his treatment, the doctor said.

Castro, 80, underwent intestinal surgery on July 31, and has not been seen in public since. The Cuban government has released at least one video of him.

Earlier this month, the president bowed out of an appearance for his 80th birthday party because he was too ill, adding fuel to rumors he was near death. His birthday was actually in August, but the festivities were delayed.

Although Castro's doctors have not revealed their diagnosis, U.S. officials have said it is possible the leader is suffering from a form of cancer in or around the abdomen.

Garcia Sabrido, a specialist in general surgery who was briefed by Castro's doctors, disputed such reports, saying the leader faces a long recovery and may be able to govern again.

The fact that Castro stopped smoking in the mid-1980s is a plus for his health, the surgeon said.

After his surgery, Castro temporarily handed over power to his brother Raul Castro, the country's longtime defense minister. The change in leadership caused fierce speculation over whether Fidel Castro was close to death.
I will accept any rules that you feel necessary to your freedom. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do. ~ Robert Heinlein

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 162750

it is a pretty big island..
we here do not know what is next proceeding the death of this dictator..
he seemes to me like a mix between Hussein and Kim Jung il .. idk.. not really Kim Jung..
he has been the dictator of this impoverished island for .. what?.. about 45 years now since the overthrow of Fulgencio Batista in 1959. Not technically dictator there but prime minister. In '65 he lead the transformation of socialism in Cuba according to Wikipedia.

Castro is described by opponents as a dictator[5][6] while supporters see Castro as a charismatic liberator (like Hussein maybe?)
