Just a theory here. Home care provider sees patient starting to deteriorate and talks to family about life and death. Crazy cousin or w/e from South America clues her in on a way to get the dying to rewrite their will and provides the drug. The caretaker, having no prior experience in handling, administering or coping with said substance attempts aerosol and contact gel. Accidentally dosing themselves they start signs too. Symptoms affect the officers in the house who breathed the aerosol in and affect the nurse at the hospital by touching hands of the caretaker which are the most likely contact points from a failed attempt at administering it to the original target. Or, caretaker has it on hands, touches gurney rail in the hospital which the nurse then touches while attending to the caretaker. Plenty of details that could be here or there TBH. But this seems like the caretaker followed inadequate advice from a shady friend or family member in an attempt to take advantage of them.

Curare blended with DMSO goes directly into the blood stream.

A hazmat team responded to both Bay Area Hospital and a home on East Bay Road as the symptoms spread from a woman to deputies, a person under the woman's care and a hospital employee, the sheriff's office said.

Cliffs notes:

- This woman, a caregiver, called the Sheriff's Dept around 3am, saying someone was vandalizing her car.

- Sheriff's Dept deputies get there, don't see anything, and are called back at 5am. This time they think she is having medical issues and hallucinating, so she is taken to the hospital.

- Hospital examines her, she appears fine, returns home.

- THEN the 2 deputies begin showing symptoms and are hospitalized

- AND THEN a hospital employee begins showing symptoms, along with the 78 year old patient of the caregiver!





Anyone have an idea of what could cause this?

Agreed. I used to be able to find it in my local PCC (hippy/organic market)- no more.

I read about some small family-owned businesses that used to sell it, and were intensely pressured to close shop. Very similar stories to the Naturopathic doctors who have been suicided in the last few years.



Makes a statement for how powerful the stuff is, and as they can't patent it (wood by-product, as I'm sure you know), other means appear to be used to control the DMSO market.

I still have some, both liquid and gel. Should last quite a while. I'll check to see if the place I buy it still carries it... they were out last time I was there but didn't say anything about not carrying it anymore.
